Met up with Kailing & Mandy in town yesterday to slack & my girls are crazy lah. Feel so much better after meeting them to talk cock & watch them take stupid pictures of themselves. Shall i post Kailing's constipated pic? Haha.
After that walked over to Orchard Hotel cos dinner plans were changed to there instead. The buffet was quite disappointing. So i think i ate shashimi the whole nite. Oh. And finally somewhere with quality ice cream. They had movenpick ice cream which i so love so i ate alot of that too. Haha. The rest of the food wasn't worth mentioning. And i just remembered there was no birthday cake for grandpa? Maybe bcos the buffet spread had tons of cakes & they thot it was mad to bring our own cake but nonetheless i think it's weird not having cake during birthday celebrations.
After dinner me, mummy, 2nd aunt, 3rd aunt & the grandfolks headed to Orchid Copthorne to listen to China ladies sing oldies. OMG. I think i was the youngest person there lor. Since it was in a lounge area, i wanted to whip out my ciggies for a smoke which i obviously did not lah. There was a fat man which kept getting his partner to dance with him & it was hilarious lor. All of us couldn't stop laughing. He dancing was so OTT & absolutely dumb but he obviously thot he was doing a great job. Mummy even asked me to take a video of him dancing lor.
It's so not my cup of tea but the old folks seemed to be enjoying themselves so i shall not complain. At least i had a free beer. I know its kinda expected but it's sucha turn off to see those China singers double up as hostesses. I'm like referring to them in such a nice way lor. Oh please. After they finish singing, they latch themseleves to some old men & start feeding them fruits & drinking with them & fawning over them. Gross. Left the place around midnite. I wonder how come grandma & grandpa were still so awake after we left. I think they haven't been out in too long. Haha.
