Yesterday after tubs came to pick me up from work, we went to Parkway with the boy and we all got a haircut. Yay! I finally got down to trimming my hair -smirks- We had dinner at Kallang KFC and when we went home after that, i packed my room a little. This time, it was really a little. *sigh* I didn't even bother to sort out what was to be thrown & what could be kept. I just threw it all out for mummy to sort. And then tubs asked to see the stuff that were given to me by my exes, which i had stored in my upper cupboard & which i haven't seen in a long time. And then i couldn't decide if i should dump all the stuff or keep them *sigh* I have totally gotten over these people but being the sentimental person that i am, i just can't bring myself to throw away all these gifts, especially when so many of them are truly sweet & heartfelt. So, that's when i decided i had enuff of packing my room for the day. WTH. I think i shall just dump everything in a big box & tape it up. I shall keep it but there will never be a need to open it up anymore. Now that that's decided, i shall attempt to continue my housekeeping task tonight again bcos time is running out!! I dun even dare imagine clearing the war zone under my bed.
Anyways, Mandy joined Mel & I for lunch today & topic of the day was ghost stories. I hate freaky hotels & i dun wanna stay in a scary hotel when we go BKK in Aug please!! Which is why i will never want to become a tour leader. I can never stand staying alone in a hotel room no matter how nice or expensive it is. I've heard ghost stories in regards to hotels for as long as i can remember & some of those stories are just downright nasty.
Mel asked if I knew this dude staying directly opposite me & i didn't have a clue who she was talking about! I feel kinda bad bcos i suck at recognizing people & i have been staying here for more than 10 years oready. Almost everyone on my street has been staying there for the longest time & they all know each other except me.. Let's see.. i think i only know Mrs Lau (cos she's like a family friend & oso bcos she gave Heidi to me), Dominic (bcos he's a super duper nosey man - even then i can barely recognize him), Aunty Grace (bcos that nice woman oways says hi to me & offers to fetch me out in her car), Aunty Bee Lay's entire family who lives on my right (cos they live just next door & they are the nicest people ever & oso bcos their son has some drool-worthy cars that you'll never fail to hear once he starts the engine. I think it's one of the most orgasmic sounds around. Haha), Henry (bcos he's Rach's godbro & if not for Rach, i'll never noe of his existence either even though he's almost directly opposite me), and then there's the Khoo family who lives on my left (sorry to those who treat Adam Khoo like a god. He may be one of the best motivational speakers around but i hate it when people blast their horn when they are approaching their house so that the maid can open the door for them).
I think that's about everyone i know on my street. Pretty sad, especially when i'm moving out soon oready & everyone recognizes me but not the other way around. I think i shall start looking out for Mel's fren & see if he's even vaguely familiar. I must have seen him before cos he recognises me & can even tell Mel that he's seen me taking a fag outside my house. Hmm..
Ok, enuff of that for now. Since tubs is gonna pick me up later, i shall be nice & go help him collect his Ashworth bag after work.
