I told you so but you insisted it wouldn’t happen. But it did. Is this one of the instances I mean when I say actions speak louder than words? I guess so. No doubt you apologized. I appreciate the apology but after some time, words don’t do it for me anymore. I will believe when I see it. And that’s the way to build trust. Sure, it’s a fairly minor incident, but maybe it’s precisely because it’s minor therefore it shouldn’t even have happened?

As for the other things we spoke about earlier in the night, I guess we’ll just have to take it as it comes. I do not blame anyone for that, and I cannot predict what may happen, but at least I made my intentions and feelings clear. Since it’s something unavoidable, I would value some discretion & sensitivity on your part. I’ve stuck by you thru your toughest times, and have always been there for you, so show me that it hasn’t been taken for granted. Absence does NOT make my heart grow fonder. So if one day you start to feel the overwhelming pressure of work + classes and if you start seeing me as an add-on to your pressure, then I know that something is seriously wrong about the way you look at me.

Of course all these are ifs. And I know we are fine & dandy now. But I’m just laying all these out for you should it happen.

Yeah, I’m moody today. It’s been a long time since a Friday doesn’t seem like the weekend to me.

Anyway, went to Chix’s Grandpa’s wake last nite with Jane & tubs. I wanted to say something, but I’ve decided its better not to. What’s past is past I guess.
On a totally different note altogether, I haven’t finish talking to my girls lah. When can we continue? So many juicy stories.

Had Macs drive-thru this morning and while tubs and I were having a smoke outside my office, Mr Evil Cigarettes walked past and tubs finally saw for himself how good looking he is. I guess when I told tubs about him, he never paid much attention but now that he’s seen first hand what I mean by good looking, he knows I’m not kidding. Haha.

September is going to be my super broke month. And I think it’s going to be a boring month. 4 birthdays which sounds pretty decent BUT 1 birthday boy is in jail, 1 birthday boy is from the ex’s side & I dun think I would wanna go, and 1 birthday person is one of the ex & if you can’t forget, I don’t think I’d wanna make it worse rite. Which only leaves Ting’s birthday which I’m so looking forward to! But that’s like next week, which leaves me just as bored for the rest of the month.

Tiger is coming back soon & Jane will be spending most of her time with him & going BKK (lucky bitch!), and Chixy will have plans of her own (scandalous! You know, I know can oready). Mandy & Kailing will be so busy with work + school. So for September, and the following 3 months, Rachel will be my nu ren cos Ah Boy is going sailing for 4 months. And when he comes back early next year, it’s their wedding dinner! Yes yes yes. My girls will try to keep me occupied and not let boredom get the better of me right? After the ex, I told myself I-will-not-stray! And I’m determined to stick to it.

After months of Mel buying/bringing lunch for us, I finally brought lunch today. Haha. Jacket potato! My fave + it’s pretty simple to make. Mix Potatoes + Eggs + Cheese + Milk + Paprika & just microwave it to perfection. Ok maybe it wasn’t exactly perfect today cos I’m not used to the office microwave.

I wanna go on a holiday lah! No shopping. Just a quick 2-3 day getaway to a nice remote island to relax. I’m not big on the sun, sand & sea (ok, I think it’s just the sun I don’t fancy) so it’s important to get nice accommodation. I found somewhere suitable. But then again, that’s the first place I came across so I’m sure there are many more nice + cheap places around that I just haven’t come across.

Met Jane last nite & we went Giant @ Parkway to buy groceries before going to fetch da chix. Since it was really late by then, East Coast Park was out of the question as I didn’t feel like having Macs & the HK Café would have been closed. We went Geylang hoping to eat you tiao but it was impossible to park and the amount of cars there was madness so we went to the HK Café @ East Coast Road instead. It was pretty packed as well so we couldn’t get smoking tables so after awhile we decided to leave with our drinks & headed back to Marine Parade & we smoked & talked at the park below Jane’s house.

Once I got home, Chixy called and said that her Grandpa had just passed away. I hope the whole family is coping fine & I hope they take comfort in the fact that his was a long & good life & at least he’s not in pain anymore. –HUGz-

Can I just say I am in L-O-V-E with Prada’s Fall/Winter Bag collection? I was never a huge Prada fan but this collection really blows me away. I want!

Yesterday nite was HK Café @ ECP with Jane & Chixy. Tried watching horror movies online but it was so slow that we gave up & we had a surprise guest – Miss Eng Kailing. Haha. I think it was a good thing we didn’t watch the movie cos after sending the girls home, I had to drive home myself and I hate taking lifts. It didn’t help that it was a HK movie which takes place during the lunar 7th month, which is like now lah. Oso yesterday was apparently the day when all the ‘brothers & sisters’ come out in full force, which explains the crowd & the jam along Joo Chiat road. When we were stuck in the jam beside an on going ge tai, Chixy & I were saying how long it has been since we saw a ge tai. I guess we’ll only see less and less of them bcos of the regulations that control the location & timing etc. It doesn’t help that there’s a great reduction of open space due to all the new buildings popping up all over the place, and oso the influx of condos & decline of HDBs. I guess all these factors leave ge tais with little choice.

Not that I really mind lah, cos I never felt comfortable with all the burning going on everywhere, trying not to step on joss sticks that are stuck on curbs & grass patches, and avoiding all the ashes that fly everywhere. Just afew years back, the magnitude of the Hungry Ghost Festival was really rampant and I would actually make a mental note everytime I am out at nite. But now, I barely notice that it’s that time of the year but I do miss watching ge tais. I’ve never watched it proper but I have caught it abit here & there when I happened to be out it the past & it’s really entertaining. It’s like a Chinese cabaret. It’s loud, it’s colourful, it may be tacky to some, but it’s fun nevertheless.

This week at work should be pretty good cos there’s hardly anyone around. I think I spent a significant amount of time at home this weekend. Sort of at least.

Friday after work, I decided to skip the even at Raffles with tubs & went home instead. Had dinner with the family (when I say family, it means the asshole isn’t there) at Siglap and then went to pick up Jane & Chixy and everywhere had no smoking seats so we drove around for abit and finally ended up at Siglap Gelare. Slacked there and after we were done with our drinks, I dropped them home & I went to pick tubs up from his house.

Saturday morning, tubs and I went East Coast Park for Macs breakfast and Aunty Su Chen & Jerome came over to see our house. Jerome is still as cute as ever and I have to say, he’s the only gay man that smittens me so much. For those who dunno who Jerome is, ask me. Haha. Lets just say he’s this French guy I knew from a couple of years back. Lolx. But he was at my house as my mum’s friend. Ok enuff about him. I shall not even bother to post a picture of him for your enjoyment bcos it’s just wrong. People who know who he is will understand.

Tubs and I watched Clockwork Orange and we fell asleep. I thot the show was pretty interesting. But we just fell asleep anyways. We met up with Dan & Sharon and this time instead of Punggol Park, we went to Pasir Ris Park instead. I thot the place was pretty nice. Dark, by the sea, and there weren’t too many people so the noise isn’t as bad as Punggol Park but the drinks were very limited and well, you dun expect much from our seas eh. I think we were feeding mosquitoes too and I was praying hard that it wouldn’t be sand flies instead.

Slept in on Sunday and went Parkway for lunch and to walk around in the afternoon. Bought donuts home and then the Sunday crowd came over to visit. Tubs cheesed me off but I guess he was kinda put in a spot so I didn’t pursue it. I hate last minute shit & indecisiveness and spoiling of people’s plans. Dinner was at ThaiPan at Mandarin Gardens. I never knew there was a restaurant there and I have to say the food was pretty good! And it’s not even pricy. And the security guard was really nice & helpful too. I know it’s so out of point but I’m pretty anal about security guards’ attitudes nowadays, especially after the Cote D’Azur incident & Mel’s incident. At nite, we went to grab a drink at the drive thru & sat by the beach for awhile before going home to sleep.

Now it’s back to Monday, the vicious cycle begins yet again. And the cleaner aunty bought me kway tiao noodles with egg. OMG. She’s making me feel so bad lah. Anybody knows when is Mid-Autumn Festival? Or is it over? I’m not a mooncake fan & we have mooncakes year round so I really wouldn’t know. If it’s coming up maybe I should buy her a box of mooncakes.

Speaking of mooncakes, it reminds me of K-Ling & I’ll be eternally grateful to her cos she was the one that walked round taka square with me & it was she who practically tried all the mooncakes to tell me which tastes the best so that I could buy for the ex’s mum. The smell itself made me nauseous so I can only imagine what she had to go thru. I ended up buying the ones from Shangri-La bcos the box was real pretty. Hahahaha.

I can’t believe it but it happened anyways. Yesterday after tubs fetched me from work, we went Awon for Korean BBQ. Yes. The same place, 2 days in a row. But this time, I ate in moderation. Haha. Oh! And they have another appetizer to add on to their usual anchovies, kim chi, preserved veg thingy, spinach and tofu. They have potato now as well! At the end of dinner, I felt just nice but tubs was near bursting. It was pouring when we were done with dinner. Absolute madness. The weather has gone bonkers.

It’s finally Friday, the day I’ve been looking forward to all week. I know it’s going to be a real short weekend of slacking at home cos tubs & I decided to save some money & not go out.

Today is oso Jane’s convocation. Best wishes to the Princess of Sows! Whoever has their convocation at 8am?! *yawnz*

I am so sleepy that I can’t think straight & I can barely keep my eyes open. That’s not a good sign at all… it’s not helping that there’s a thunderstorm out there right now lah.

I’m finally early for work again when I take the damned bus. And that’s bcos I left the house before 8am –faints- I’m finally starting to see a peek of the weekend approaching. But first I’ll have to get over & done with today & tml.

Yesterday after work was dinner with Jane & da chix @ Awon Korean BBQ restaurant. The same place Ling celebrated her birthday. I think all the reviews have been helping them cos there were significantly more people compared to the last time I went. And bcos I did some reading up this time before we went, we paid by UOB card which gave us 50% off. In fact, even if we had used other cards, we could easily have gotten 20 – 30% off. That shows Ling didn’t do her homework the last time round. Haha. $13 per person for a buffet is really cheap. Some how this time round I lost form. Could barely start on my 2nd bowl of rice & it left us so full we could hardly move. Did I mention before I love the rice there? Lolx.

I shall blame it on the stupid people around us. Doing stupid things & making us laugh so hard at them that our appetites came to a stop. Compared to when I came with Ling & the gang, and compared to the amount we usually eat at Xian De Lai, yesterday was nowhere near our usual standards but I haven’t been so stuffed in a long time.

It was impossible to get a cab after dinner cos all the cabbies were changing shift so we went Raffles City to walk. I saw the bracelet I liked at Aldo again. It was 1 for 1 but I decided to curb my spending and not spend $65 on a bracelet that I may not even wear often. Saw some pretty panties and once again I had to stop myself from buying them cos I oready have far too many undies.

The shops were all closing so we decided to cab home. It was no surprise there was a long cab queue so we called a cab. And he went to the wrong taxi stand after we waited for so long. And instead of coming to the right one, he left. KNN. So we called another one which oso went to the wrong taxi stand. OMG. My feet were so painful & we were super restless but at least he bothered to come to the right one.

We had laughing fits in the cab which left us in stitches. I think everyone must have been pooped man. I’ve never been so glad to get home for a nice hot shower & into my bed.

I think it’s fab that me & the girls make it a point to meet up at least once a week but the way we are eating is not funny. We need to wake up our idea. I guess next week is dinner @ Pepper Lunch followed by shopping in town. I guess that’s a better arrangement cos it’s not overeating + we can walk off our dinner after that. And I can show my girls the Gucci wallet I want. Haha.

The K-Ling is ill. I think she is love sick. She misses me too much. Haha. Which means I won’t be seeing her for lunch today, which is sad cos I was kinda hoping for some rain in the afternoon. Lolx. Anyway take care & get well soon dear!

I didn’t realize how much I had overspent this month until I saw my bank balance yesterday. Horrors. I shall try to cut down on my expenses next month. This is really worrying.

The house is more like a home when the asshole isn’t around. He’s doing his reservist & will be at the lighthouse these few days. I do hope something happens to him. Yes, my hatred towards him can’t run any deeper. Told mum what happened the other day and all she can say is that she doesn’t know what to do about him as well. I decided not to pursue it cos to me, there’s shitloads that can be done. Its whether they wanna do anything about him or not. All I can say is that by trying to salvage a son, they are losing their daughter & it doesn’t bother me that much. One fine day, I’ll just say ‘I told you so’. Lets hope theirs is the right choice bcos they have gotten themselves a demon son that wants to do nothing but live off them and thinks that he’s the king and that his parents are his servants, who satisfies his every whim and fancy. Enuff about that asshole. I hope now Grandpa can truly see what kind of a person he is.

On a happier note, met Jane & Chixy yesterday @ East Coast Park. Shall not disclose what happened but I think that really made da chix panic. LOLx. I had deep fried pork chop rice with mango pomelo ice blend. The rice was good but their drinks are just getting worse. Dessert was Gelare ice cream which we brought over to the HK Café to eat. Haha. Jane passed me the Clockwork Orange DVD. Looks like I can watch it this weekend with tubs. A movie marathon at home should be able to help us save some money. Chix brought her laptop and we surfed friendster and we found someone… someone who, about 10 years ago, made me feel this way…

Haha. Really. Someone who reminds me of Savage Garden’s ‘Truly Madly Deeply’, someone who made me fall in love with Hugo Boss cologne. Reminiscing was really fun. I’m glad we came across that profile, even though there are tons of direct links so it wasn’t that big a feat actually. Haha.

I know I’m so inefficient. But that’s bcos I’m barely home & I’ve got screwed up internet connection at home. I swear I tried sorting my photos and started posting afew when the internet died on me. Patience yah.

Late for work again. What the hell is wrong with Nicol Highway recently? It never used to be this jammed. Anyway, this weekend was pretty good but then again, some people really pissed me off too.

Friday, was waiting for the bus to come to go home when I realized I left the nasi lemak the aunty bought me in the office so I went back to take it. I can’t imagine which stage of decomposition it’ll be in if I had forgotten about it & left it in the office.

When I got home, I was standing near the wall using the phone when the asshole pushed me from my right to get past me. He could have easily walked on the left but he just had to push me. I was so fucking pissed but I let it go. Bcos I noe it’s a matter of time before something bad befalls him. Just watch. He is the kind that deserves either a slow & painful death, or a long life filled with misery. He’s so mental I can’t believe I live in such close proximity to him.

Anyway, met Dan & Sharon at AMK Hub at nite and we watched Secret. I thot it was not bad. After that we headed to Punggol Park to chill and I was practically feeding the mosquitoes there.
Managed to sleep in a little on Saturday. The folks had a 70’s theme party to attend and it was kinda funny seeing them all dressed up. Tubs and I went Dunman Food Centre for my fave tien ji zhou. Yummers. It was so packed that we had to wait a long time for our food to come but luckily we managed to get a seat almost as immediately as we reached. After that we decided to go buy donuts since we were just round the corner. Munchy Donut rocks! The queue was pretty long but it moved quite fast so it was ok. I told the lady to get me one of each but she obviously missed out some. So we got a huge box of donuts and I think we whacked the 3 yummiest ones from the lot and brought the rest back for the family. Haha.

En route to Vivo, we saw fireworks. We thot the fireworks display was at 8pm so it was quite a nice surprise when we saw it going off around 9+pm. Since so many ppl said 881 was good, we decided to watch it. The 10pm show was almost sold out so we bought tix for the 1230am show. At 10pm, I managed to get into River Island & Forever 21 and bought clothes. Haha. I was so happy.

We had 2 hours to pass so we bought drinks and drove to Mt Faber but there was a jam so we had to reverse all the way down. WTH. That was scary bcos it was so dark & if people were to drive up, they wouldn’t be able to see us bcos of the bends. But we were not alone. Haha. The cars in front of decided to do the same.

Since our Mt Faber plans were foiled, we headed back to Vivo and some dumb ass was having problems with his cashcard, which caused another jam at the car park, so learning from earlier on, tubs reversed all the way back to go to another entrance and everyone followed suit. I hate jams. And I hate the people who cause jams. We sat at where I call the ‘alligator pond’ where we smoked had our drinks and then we went to the arcade until it was time for the movie.

I didn’t think the movie was good though. I wouldn’t call it bad, but it wasn’t good. May and Choy were a pain to watch bcos they had to speak in Chinese and obviously they were nowhere near fluent and they were way irritating. But I was glad the singlish wasn’t OTT. I find usually Jack Neo’s shows have damn irritating singlish, which is why I refuse to watch his shows anymore. Its not even the normal way people talk. It’s like he’s trying to fit every sentence with as much singlish/dialect as possible. Damn cheesy. I think Royston Tan’s much better when it comes to this aspect. Techno-cat. Haha.

And oh, I bumped into Suleen. It’s been such a long time since I last saw her! We really gotta get together with Peiyi soon. Later when we 2 car convoyed, a white golf gti pissed me off man. Argh! Shall not go into that..

Sunday, bcos I was still thinking of shopping, we went to Vivo again. Haha. Didn’t see anything I like though, which is good cos I really dun wanna spend so much money, especially for this mth. We went to Pet Safari but there’re weren’t any nice dogs and the place was way too crowded.

Dinner was Waraku @ Cuppage to celebrate tub’s dad’s bday. They ordered so much food I nearly puked. And tubs & I had bought the Secret Recipe Banana Chocolate cake so the amount of food was pretty crazy.

We went to look for Chixy at nite for a smoke. The silly girl seems so ‘fan’. She’s oways fretting lah. What’s new. Hehe.

*sigh* It’s only Monday. Hope the weekend comes again soon.

Yesterday, I decided to leave work on the dot even before the guys left bcos I didn’t want my darlings to wait for me BUT when I got there, I called everyone up & Kailing was on the bus, Ting was at the MRT and our dar-LING birthday girl was still at home. Heng Yuan was there oready so I walked around Raffles City with him first while waiting for Kailing & Ting to reach. Once we met up with them, we decided to go to the restaurant first, which was a good idea cos the birthday girl was more than an hour late & oso we had a room to ourselves with a TV so we watched the 7pm Ch8 show. Haha. Finally Ling came, followed by her Ah Lau, and then tubs. As usual, I have no fotos (yet) and they are all with my darlings so i shall steal some from the net.

The place was almost empty but I have to say the food was not bad. We ate, and we had yummy cake from four leaves and we watched TV, and we fooled around until 10+pm when we decided to leave so that the staff could clean up & go home cos we were the only people left. After that the rest of the girls went for KTV session while me & tubs went back to his place.

Fell asleep at his place which was a bad thing to happen cos when he woke me up to help me blow dry my hair, I was super stoned. Both of us fell asleep again after that until 2:30am and we decided to drive back to my place. THEN we found the car missing. A fone call & nearly half an hr later, I saw something that left me speechless. I shall not say anything here but *sigh* why like that… … …

This morning we went for Macs drive thru. I wasn’t really hungry so I had hash browns instead. Reached office, had a smoke, and here I am. The sky is dark & grey outside and I’m wearing my new jacket which is so comfy. I think I can just sleep the Friday away *yawn* Now that the guys from Dallas are gone, the mood is much more relaxed. Can we have a shorter day today? Haha.

The cleaner aunty just came and she bought nasi lemak for me. Some people are just so nice. They are earning barely a few hundred dollars a month and still they think of you and bother to buy you breakfast when there’s a mini typhoon outside. Next week I shall think of something to give her. I oways have a ready supply of sweets at my desk but I dun think the older folks fancy sweets much eh.

I was half an hour late for work today when I shld have been at least 15mins early, no thanks to an accident which caused traffic to stop from Mountbatten exit to ard Merlion Park area. KNN. I’m so pissed. All it takes is one accident and the consequences are so jialat. Drive properly lah people! One cock up and everyone has to suffer the aftermath.

And I cannot understand why even though everyone has reached before me, they can’t just turn all the lights on & close the door? The place looked like it had been broken into or like there was a short circuit or something. Kaoz. Hope the guys from Dallas didn’t think I was late bcos of yesterday’s nite out.

Yup. Yesterday we were supposed to leave early so that everyone would have time to go home to get changed into something more comfy. The bitch left at 4pm and I decided to wait for the guys from Dallas to leave before I headed home but by 6pm, they didn’t look anywhere near ready to go so I just left. Once I got home, changed clothes and had to head out oready. That was when the bitch called me and whined about how she was the only person there. Whatever.

We had a feast I swear. There was beer, red wine, white wine, chilli crab, black pepper crab, scallops, chicken, prawns, man tou, mee goreng, fried rice, satay, otah, kang kong, another vege dish etc etc. *pukes*

The ang mohs are so cute lah. They thot the steamed man tou was a giant marshmallow. Haha. But yesterday was great. Company lunches/dinners are oways lotsa fun and out of the office, there’s no taboo topics so it can get really mad.

I finished my last stick of ciggie last nite and I haven’t bought a new pack. I need a smoke so badly lah. But no matter how desperate, I will not resort to taking out my evil ciggies –shudder-

I took like more than an hour to complete a spreadsheet bcos of the stupid printer & computer settings. It didn’t help that the printer was so far from me so for every page I printed, I had to walk over & check on it. I must have printed a stack full of rejected spreadsheets before I finally tweaked one into perfection.

Yesterday nite, picked Chix from Siglap after her massage & then went Marine Parade to pick Jane up. Slacked at East Coast Park HK Café and then our missy decided her nite was still young so the rest of us went home to zzZzZZzZzzZzzz while she went out gallivanting. Haha.

I dun think I slept any later than other days but I dunno why i’m super tired today. I just wanna go home after work to rest. I’m really not in the mood to entertain! And I’m not that big on seafood so it’s not even a motivating factor *sigh* At least we get to leave work earlier today (I think).

Today my partner in crime took leave. But she still came online in the morning to entertain me until her internet connection at home cocked up. The whole day got nobody tell me “how I wish now is after lunch”, “how I wish now is 530pm”, “how I wish today is Friday”. Haha. That’s our standard procedure. But lucky today got another biatch to entertain me but she replies so slowly. I think she’s hibernating in her office.

For lunch today, Mel was telling me ghost stories. What a month to talk about such things eh. And then the wind started blowing, and the rain started pouring. It was like a mini-typhoon and we were getting wet (OMG that’s sounds wrong) so we shifted the table to behind the pillar. Haha. Self-service. (Ok that didn’t sound veri right either). Once we were done with lunch & I went back to office, the rain stopped. WTH.

Today is power meeting day man. Since ard 930am, the guys have been having meeting non-stop & they’re still at it as we speak. They only stopped for lunch which was less than an hour. Madness. I think by Thursday my boss is gonna be so tired that he’ll declare Friday a holiday. Haha. I wish.

If only there are people who go around offices offering services like manicures & massages. I think I need a perk-me-up like that without leaving the office. Haha.
It’s only Tuesday.. Let me daydream abit can or not.

The biggies are in town & things are not looking good *sigh* All I can do is to keep my fingers crossed.

Headed to Bugis to meet up with Chix & Jane for steamboat @ Xian De Lai yesterday after work. Met my dear Rachel there & she got me a discount card. I miss her & Jes so much. We really gotta plan a day to meet up! Triple date before Ah Boy goes out to sea for 4 months in September. After Ah Boy leaves, I shall be her substitute BF. Hehe.

I think the more often we eat at Xian De Lai, the more we talk & less we eat. Laughing + eating buffet does not go well together. It just puts you in agony & your stomach just wants to burst. By 8+pm, we decided we couldn’t stuff another morsel of food into our mouths oready so we left & had a smoke outside. AND THEN we went to Ah Chew for dessert. Hahaha. We were still full but we just wanted some dessert. We are absolutely horrible I know.

It’s beyond me how a 40-over year old woman whines about how inconvenient & expensive it is to go to East Coast Park from Toa Payoh. She earns roughly $4k/month, stays with her parents & has no commitments and she’s not willing to come out with that little bit of money to take a cab?! Seriously that’s the last of my concern but to suggest going back with me so that we can go down to East Coast Park together is absurd! Is she fucking nuts? Does she think she’s that lovable? If I agreed to it, I think tml there’ll be a missing person’s case & you’ll find her floating along the shores of East Coast. I know it’s not a nice thing to say especially during the 7th month but puhleeze! And the worst thing is she knows I’m going home before going for dinner. And she still shamefully suggests going with me. How thick skinned is that? You don’t invite yourself to other people’s house! She didn’t even try phrasing it as a question. It was a “Tomorrow I go back with you so we can go ECP together” Erm, no thanks? Especially when I’m someone whom you constantly scream at & give a hard time to! You have been around Singapore 20 more years than me so stop acting dumb & find your own way around!

I was doing expense reimbursement for one of the guys & the bitch realized that the bill for a few meals came up to amounts that included more than 1 person but it was not stated who the guest is so she came to her own conclusion *semi whisper + saliva flying out of her mouth + giggling like a mad woman having fits* “I think must be he ziao ji & treat her eat”. OMG. Only she can come up with such a lewd suggestion. I think she’s seriously deprived, which reminds me of that time when she whined to me, “Jasmine, I am a lady you know, how can he crouch behind me!” Oh please. If you’d stop daydreaming, I think you’ll know when people have walked behind you so stop insisting that people creep up behind you. And when there’s someone behind you and you’re kneeling on the floor taking something from the cupboard, isn’t it natural to turn around or to stand up? If you dun do that, don’t accuse people of crouching behind you and seriously, don’t be such a drama queen lah lao zhar bor!

Why am I oways so tired on Mondays? I slept the entire way to work this morning & the only thing I wanted to do when I reached work was to lie on my desk & continue sleeping.

Tubs picked me up from work on Friday & we went Vivo for dinner. We have been there so many times but we’ve never tried the food court so we finally got down to eating at Food Republic. The food there is really good I gotta say. Pricy for food court standards but good nonetheless.

Later that nite, while we were taking a walk around the premises near the swimming pool, there was a stream of water coming down from the open gallery that was a level up. Then… we realized it was some fucker peeing from the ledge. When we shouted at him from below, he just zipped up and walked away.. then we realized there was another guy doing the same thing was a little further down. I was so pissed that we went to complain to the security. Sometimes I really hate ang mohs in Singapore. They can be really uncouth & barbaric. We finally decided to sit somewhere near the main lobby & the fuckers came to shake our hands to say hi & make peace. Whatever. Fancy people like them acting like animals, peeing everywhere.

Saturday afternoon, we decided to go swimming & sit in the steam room for abit. And we had some beer & fries. Looks like we can’t save any money even when we stay at home. Haha. Met up with Dan & Sharon at Punggol Park & the weather was horrible. It was so hot & humid. Our weather is so screwed up man.

And bcos I didn’t get a chance to blog yesterday, here’s a HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY TO MANDY DEAR! I love you babez~

Sunday was off to get a much needed trim but it ended up more of a cut instead & I’m not used to it now cos my fringe ain’t behaving. Met up with my darlings at Partyworld Orchard for them to sing their hearts out. The birthday girl went home with Guoan for dinner + go to the airport and Kailing went with Gong Wen to the airport to pick Jane up so tubs, me, Yuan, Ling & Ting Ting went to walk around & I think I prefer the Gucci wallet to the LV one. I’m in no rush to change my wallet though. I’m actually quite happy with my present one which I’ve been using for a long time but the Gucci one is really quite pretty.
After that, everyone met up again sans Mandy & Guoan for dinner at Chai Chee bak chor mee before heading to East Coast Park Gelare. I have ZERO pictures of that day so either be patient & wait for my girls to send me the pictures, or just go read their blogs cos I’m sure there’ll be plenty of pictures there.
It started pouring like mad while we were at East Coast Park. What a way to usher in the lunar 7th month eh. Sent tubs home after that & waited for the rain to stop before heading home myself.

Lunch with Mandy today. My poor girl is in pain! If she loses anymore weight I won’t be able to see her anymore & her boobs are gonna be smaller than mine! Therefore I shall wreck my brains & try to help her think of what she can eat.

It’s back to work but it’s ok. Tomoro’s the weekend oready! I actually quite enjoy public holidays that fall on Thursdays. It breaks the work week up just nice.

Met up with Jane & Tiger @ Simpang Bedok on Thursday nite. We didn’t stay too long though. I was so tired & it was kinda hot & humid anyways. But it’s oways good to meet up with frens no matter how short the time.

Woke up early on Friday morning & went to Jln Jamal from 10am – 2pm. Lunched at Coffee Club after that & I got a nice surprise from darls. Hidden somewhere in the car was half a carat of bling sitting pretty on a band of white gold. Hehe. Thanks darling! You know I love you & you know I’m not saying that bcos of the diamond ring. In return, darls got something from LV.

Hope you like it baby. I swear I nearly bought myself a wallet from there but I decided not to in the end. Will power! We went to Tiffany & Co. and it seems like I’m one step closer to getting my diamond Atlas ring. (In case some people are wondering why the hell we are buying each other gifts on National Day, haha to you cos 9 Aug has a greater significance for us than our nation’s birthday)

Wanted to try Aston’s at S’goon but it was closed so we finally had dinner at Punggol Park. It’s something we’ve oways said we wanted to try cos we are there for drinks & snacks so often but we never had a proper meal there so Thursday was it! I hate to say it but the mains didn’t appeal much to me but the place wasn’t too crowded so it was great just enjoying each other’s company.

Had to drag myself out of bed again this morning. I dunno why I’m so tired. I didn’t sleep that late. I fell asleep just before Bones ended. *sigh* I think my body is still on holiday mode. But it’s ok. I can sleep in a little more tml. The wonders of black-out curtains.

Met Jane & Chix yesterday nite at Kallang KFC for dinner. It’s been awhile since we last went there. Now they have smoking tables. Finally.

Diaoz.. the boss sent such a nice email but when I saw the time, I dunno whether to laugh or cry.
Dear all,
As the office will be closing for National Day tomorrow, and in order to give the one day holiday a head start, we will officially be closing at 5:30pm today. Enjoy the day off, and I’ll see everyone on Friday.

Why half an hour only? Why not make it after lunch? Wouldn’t that be a better head start? Haha.

DAY 1
Met the girls at Budget Terminal for our 630am flight & I have to say Tiger Airways isn’t as bad as I expected but still I didn’t like it. I never liked planes to start with.

Reached BKK, and the van that was supposed to take us to Hard Rock Pattaya needed a push start. WTH. So we decided to go straight to the hotel instead of getting the driver to bring us to eat in case the damned vehicle had problems starting again. Had a huge lunch at HRC

& then it was off to our rooms to get a short rest.

I like the idea of waking up to Kurt Cobain. Hehe.

We headed to the beach in the afternoon & everyone was touting & not leaving us alone so we went back to HRC pool to slack & had drinks there.

Evening after we had freshened up, we ventured to the streets & had local food for dinner. This is our hotel balconies when lighted up at nite.

It was so yummy though it looks gross! And of cos so cheap. Managed to do a little shopping & I bought myself a dress & a pair of sunnies. Tubs has gone crazy over cigars. Over the few days there, he bought 3 different boxes of mini cigars and they really stink up the room man. The boxes are really cute & I get to keep them so I’m not complaining.

DAY 2
Did some last minute shopping at HRC for souvenirs to distribute when we come back home. The van came pick us up at 11am & dropped us at our hotel. Tubs & I stayed at Centre Point Service Apartment.

What a mess eh. That's just us. Me mainly i guess. Haha.

I didn’t really like it bcos I found it pretty old & far too dim for my liking but Tubs liked it. We had room service – soft shell crab, coconut ice blended, pad thai and lobster bisque.

Met the rest of the girls at MBK for some shopping & we went back to our hotel for more room service after that – soft shell crab salad, katsudon, spinach soup and coconut ice blended.

DAY 3
We met the girls at Chatuchak at 11am & there were so much less puppies than the last time I came.

But they were so cute anyhow. The golden retrievers were so fluffy & I saw the prettiest husky ever. Even Tubs lived it to bits. One of it’s eyes were the most beautiful shade of blue I’ve ever seen. I think Chatuchak is mainly for me to see doggies cos by 2+pm, we couldn’t take the heat anymore & decided to head back to the hotel. The cab driver heard wrongly & dropped us off at Siam Centre instead but it turned out to be a blessing in disguise cos I managed to do some shopping there. Had dinner at Oishi Grand. It was a fab Japanese buffet & I was stuffed after that.
At nite was off to Suan Lom nite bazaar. I like! Even flooring, many shops, it wasn’t very hot, it was easy to walk in order so we could cover every shop + there was beer & live band & fries & pizza & chicken wings & great company. Yay! We liked it so much we decided to return the next nite. Haha.

DAY 4
We went Platinum Mall & lunched @ KFC. They provide metal fork & knife can. We just used our fingers. Haha. I liked the place but Tubs had a backache so he went to get a massage while I walked with the girls til 630pm when it was closing & tubs came to pick me up cos I refused to go back to the hotel on my own. We went to Coca for dinner & it was yummers but I wasn’t hungry so I didn’t eat much. Went to Suan Lom for more shopping after that but we skipped the beer this rime round & headed to Patpong instead.

DAY 5
Woke up early, did some last minute packing, and rushed to Central World to grab some pretty undies from La Senza. I wanted to shoot myself for missing that place but it’s ok. I’m happy with my La Senza purchases. Took a cab back to our hotel, loaded our luggage & headed to the airport to meet the girls. Had lunch in the airport & I think there’s where Tub’s got food poisoning. So much for avoiding road side stalls..

5 days in BKK seems like a long time but I haven’t covered a lot of malls & another day extra would have helped a lot but its ok. I had fun nevertheless. Everything was cheap, the weather was good & I had the best company ever! But I think it’s no good to have a hectic holiday right smack in the middle of the work week. Shag like mad. Should just go to a nice cool weather country or to a beach resort for a spa session. Haha. Now all I have to do is wait for my depleted bank account to grow again.
