Woo Hoo! It feels like a Friday today. Had lunch with Chixy near her work place. Speed lunch man. Took a bus there, had a ciggie, bought + ate lunch, had another ciggie, cabbed back.
So much for hating to do last minute packing… I’m not packed yet lah. I still have no idea how much money to bring… Met Chixy & Jane yesterday and we went to the HK Café at East Coast Park again. They said they brought S$1,000 the last time they went BKK & they had not enuff to spend. It was on shopping alone mind you. They didn’t even spend on food. I don’t think I’m such a power shopper but after thinking about it, $200/day really isn’t that much money.
Chixy told us a story which really cracked me up when we started talking about doggies at Chatuchak. She had a fren who bought a black puppy from Thailand and after going thru all the procedures & jabs, the puppy was finally sent to Singapore. Over time, she realized that the pup was starting to walk on its hind feet & that freaked her out. She thought it was some black magic at work or something so she brought the pup to the vet for examination and they found out that ………………………
it wasn’t even a dog.
It was a BEAR.
WTH!! So it was taken away by our Singapore Zoo & she was fined on top of that. I think that’s dumb lor. Kena conned into buying a bear & in the end still have to give it away + pay a fine.
Coming Sunday is Grandpa’s 100 days since he passed away. Everyone is going but I can’t cos I’ll still be in BKK *sigh* Hopefully I’ll have time tonite to drop by Mandai Crematorium to visit him. I miss him so much.
Mandy will only be back tonite. She is such a da mang ren. She’ll barely have time to recover from her previous trip & get some sleep before we fly off again. But I can’t wait to see my darlings!
