Long weekend for me. But for now, it’s back to work!
Took half day on Thursday cos I wasn’t feeling well since morning but I ended up meeting Chixy for lunch, supposedly at Roxy for our tom yum ban mian but it was still closed. They are damn inefficient lah. They were supposed to open first thing in September but it became early September and now it’s late September. Anyway, we ended up going to Orchard but no shopping for us. It was mainly lunch/dinner at Wisma food court and we had teppanyaki by a damn disgusting chef. He looked so gross and so was his attitude. I think that was one of the reasons why we couldn’t finish our food. He kept staring at us like we killed his family and he was so sloppy and he had the original out of bed look. Or maybe more like never combed his hair in his entire life look. While cooking halfway, his HP would ring and he would answer it.
Met Chixy again at nite and we had yucky teh-peng at the coffee shop outside her house and then we went to Mas Ayu for awhile and then to the playground at Siglap but it was so hot so we left.
Macs breakfast the next day at 7+am and… I went home to koon until late afternoon. Haha. That was a good rest I gotta say. Went to the doc. I have ‘Viral Infection’. Lolx. Dinner at Thai-pan before going to Scruffy Murphy’s @ ECP for a beer and then to TM to watch ‘No Reservations’ for a second time. I think I figured out why I liked the show so much. It’s not that the story line is fantastic. It’s because I like watching Catherine Zeta Jones.
Saturday afternoon was lunch at Chicken House at Thomson. Can I just say it’s yucky. It didn’t help that the weather was so damn hot and I wasn’t in the best of moods. Dinner was at Paramount to celebrate Grandpa’s birthday. The amount we ordered was madness. It was practically everything on the menu and quite afew dishes had repeated orders. That’s what happens when we go to a buffet. Haha. Went to pick Chixy up after that and we met Dan & Sharon at Punggol Park. Today was a very short coffee session so we went to Orchard hoping to see some cars but we left after awhile. Damn the TP op. we ended up going to Kel’s house to watch TV before going home to rest.
Sunday, went to Taka again and bought mooncakes this time round. Bought the ones from Shangri-La only because I liked how the boxes looked. Haha. Went to Cote D’Azur, then to Punggol, then to AMK to drop the mooncakes and then to Woodlands to collect mooncakes. Finally got to meet my darlings in Orchard after that. No doubt we met up for awhile only, but its oways nice to meet them! Jane bought us pressies from her BKK trip, which I shall see today. Yay! Because I didn’t have dinner, I got mum to tapao noodles Grandma cooked, which I ate for supper. Yummers.
I’m feeling queasy after lunch. I wanna go home and rest. Boo Hoo.
