So much for asking what happened to the rain. Rain it did this morning, which got my shoes kinda wet, but I’m not complaining. Cos I still insist that I prefer this weather to a sweltering hot day.
I’m almost done with my book oready, which means I have to bring a different book every alternate day, and that’s considering I try to read it slowly so that it’ll last me longer. Bringing a book just adds to the weight of my oready heavy bag.
Steamboat with my girls at Bugis yesterday. I think it’ll be good to have that now. After that we went to Bugis village and it was so hot, which made me very crabby indeed. I bought a dress though. Haven’t bought clothes in such a long time lah. Jane bought a gorgeous bag but I decided to have some self control cos I oready have a brown bag and that bag was pretty huge so if I had bought it, I know I’ll just carry more things in it. Not good cos it’s just gonna kill my shoulders even more. BUT if I can’t get that bag outta my head after a couple of weeks, I may just go and buy it. Hahaha. There was another shop upstairs that sold really nice bags. *sigh* I want a new bag!! The bags aren’t pricy but because I’m overspending every month, I know I have to curb going shopping but I am a woman after all and I have my needs too you know. Haha.
I am craving Boon Lay market’s nasi lemak. It’s been ages since I last had it but it’s just so damn far. I’m craving for Zouk too. It’s been too long a hiatus. Looks like it’s time to clear some leave! Haven’t clubbed with my bitches in such a long time!
What do you get when 3 girls have had too much to eat, tired from the day’s work & shopping and crabby from the heat? We ended up taking a bus back to the east cos there were no cabs available and the bus was right in front of us? You get us piling into the bus and that’s when the trash talk begins, with dirty talk that would make any guy blush and a whole load of laughter, which we manage to suppress so as to not affect other commuters. How thoughtful yeah?
I can smell the weekend oready. Yay!
