This weekend wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be I gotta say. But so much for not going shopping or splurging on food… the amount of money I spent on petrol was enuff to kill me.
Friday nite, went to Chix’s grandpa’s wake with Jane to keep da chix company. We decided to go somewhere to satisfy our craving for something sweet and we saw someone who made me decide not to go back there anymore. There isn’t exactly bad blood or anything, it’s just something that makes me feel uncomfortable. Anyway, tubs came to find us later on and we played blackjack until everyone was tired and we went home.
Saturday evening we wanted to go Tung Lok for dinner but their buffet required a minimum of 4 people so from the east, we went to the north, then to the west, then back to the east again to eat at ThaiPan. Even though I just ate there not so long ago, but I think the food is really good & the price is very reasonable as well. It helped that we got smoking seats & the weather was fab that day. Went down to the wake to look for da chix for awhile before heading down to Yishun Dam to meet Mandy & Guoan to slack for the night.
To stick to our no-shopping weekend, we went to Pasir Ris Farmway to look at puppies on Sunday afternoon. Oh how I love dogs. I never fancied poodles but we saw a couple of toy poodles that were absolutely adorable! One of the shop guys picked up a toy poodle and made tubs carry it. Haha. He looked kinda lost with that tiny thing in his arms but I knew he really liked it cos he told me that if I were to buy it, he’ll let me keep it in his house. But I shall not make any hasty decisions especially when my life is just about to get more hectic. But a small dog which doesn’t shed, has no smell and is so well behaved it so easy to bring out. Heidi & Jassy was a nightmare to bring out. Shedding and slobbering all over the car.
Anyway after that we went to Ikea to walk and then we bought some food and headed to tub’s grandparents’ house before going to meet Danny Boy & Sharon for a quick coffee. It’s weird to meet them on a Sunday. It just makes me feel like it’s not a Sunday and I so don’t want the weekend to end but well, here I am back in the office on a Monday morning *sigh*
I dunno why but I’m feeling very restless & pek chek this morning. I hope I’ll feel better soon. I hope it’s not bcos I’m falling sick. Maybe I just need a good massage.
