What a start to the work week. After the past few days being unbearably hot, it has finally decided to pour first thing in the morning. Thank goodness I’m wearing a skirt and I brought my brolly and hoodie blazer. I had fun this weekend though.
Friday after work, went down to the airport to pick tubs up then we went for dinner at Awon. The place was packed and I have to admit, I’m kinda sick of the place oready. Went Punggol Park after that to slack the nite away.
Managed to catch up on abit of my sleep on Saturday. In the evening, tubs and I went to pick da chix up and she treated us, plus Jane & Tiger to steamboat @ AMK. Yummers. That was my kind of steamboat. Not too much meat, hotdogs and sotong balls please! After that all of us went to Punggol Park for drinks before heading to Kel’s house to watch The Victim, a Thai horror show. I thought it was pretty good. Thank goodness there were so many of us and there was tubs to go home with. Good luck to Jane who’s going to Thailand soon. Hope she doesn’t hear any sounds from the Thai dance while she’s in the hotel room and remember not to lie down in the bathtub! Haha. So much for scaring me in the past. Now is payback time! But I think she was very scared though. Cos half the time, tiger had his face buried in her crotch and she was giggling away. I shall not blame them since Tiger has been away for the past month and it’s understandable but please lah. Go somewhere more discreet lah. Not between everyone else and the telly rite. Hahahhahaha.
Slept into the afternoon on Sunday before we went to Orchard to see my wallet. It’s a good thing I went back again cos I’ve decided on a change of choice. We didn’t even walk around cos I didn’t wanna do any impulse shopping, considering my financial status so after a round of Yakitori, Takopachi and Orange Julius, we went to pick Chixy up from Kel’s place and went to walk at the Pasar Malam nearby. We bought Tu Tu Kuay, Kebab, drinks, fried chicken etc and we couldn’t finish it.
Headed to Suntec after that and on the way, a mother fucking EG pissed the hell outta us. He didn’t have the skill to cut out in time before us at the filter lane so being a sore loser, he went beside us when we were already on the expressway and revved his engine. Firstly, nobody was playing with you. Secondly, what does that prove? To let others hear how fucked up your engine sounds? Do you expect that to make others tremble with fright? I think it actually made us burst out in laughter. What a champion you are, playing with a small car. It proves so much lah *yawn* These people act like tyrants on the road but I bet they have no balls. So if anybody knows a yellow EG with carbon fibre bonnet, plate number, 9228, I think you better ask him to go hide his face better.
At Suntec, we had fun at Toy r’ us and the piano section while Chixy serenaded us with her piano playing while we were waiting for Jane & Tiger. Then it was Yami Yoghurt for us before going down to You Tiao Da Wang at Geylang. I love! But I was so full I only managed to finish my You Tiao and Soya Bean drink. Tubs had to finish my Mee Sua after I had a few bites. Small meals throughout the day really is a good thing! Dropped Chixy back at Kel’s house after that and that was all for our weekend gallivanting.
After working for so long, I never actually gotten down to calculating my monthly expenses. Until last nite, tubs and I sat down to do a breakdown. And I got a shock when necessities aside (i.e. parent’s allowance, HP bill, ciggies, transport, insurance etc), I had less than $200 spending money. That is BAD man. I better come up with a plan or else I can forget about going on holidays and shopping sprees.
Anyway, 7 September (Friday) was Mick’s birthday. Happy Belated Birthday dear!!! Sorry I couldn’t attend your chalet but I hope you had fun and I’ll see you soon! *smoochies*
Today is Niku’s birthday but I can’t wish him. I guess his birthday crowd celebrating with him this year is different from previous years. But I still wish him all the best. As much as sometimes he drives me crazy (not in a good way), but I’ll never forget the fun we used to have about 7 years ago. That was the time we were absolutely mad and carefree.
OMG I nearly forgot. I had a horrible dream about spiders last nite –shiver-.
Dad didn’t go work again. His gout is really bad. Hope he gets better soon. Sent mummy a link on gout remedies. Not sure if it works though.
Chixy woke up for work today, only to end up skipping work and going to JB with Kel. OMG. I oso want. But if I’m her employer, I’m sure to fire her. LOLx.
Tubs came to lunch with me today. He should do this more often. Haha.
Ok now everyone can tell I’m bored. I can’t wait for after work though!
