After work yesterday, went to Thai Express at Siglap with Chixy for dinner & drinks and to catch up with my bitch & surf the internet to show her some stuff. We were so full after that and we sat there til 10+pm when they were closing and I dropped her off at Gene’s house.
Went home for a nice shower and attempted to watch my Stardust DVD. I fell asleep halfway thru. Fantastic. Now I’ll have to watch it all over again. Tired lah. The thing is, when the boys woke me up after the show ended, I somehow thought it was 4+am so I didn’t even think about going for supper like what they first said we’ll do before the show started, and I just went back to my room and KO-ed 1 more time. It was when I woke up this morning that I realized I had fallen asleep around 1am, which is damn early by my standards. Weird.
Anyway Macs brekkie for me this morning. Shiok but it just makes me wanna sleep even more.
Dan and Sharon are coming back soon! Hope they had lotsa fun but sounds like their bank accounts are going to suffer from depression from the little Dan told me when he called last nite. Haha. But I guess our mindset is around the same. No point scrimping and saving while on a holiday.
Oh, did anyone buy Dec’s issue of Her World? It’s a damn shiok bumper issue and it comes with lotsa pull outs, a miniature perfume and a free pouch thingy. Go buy it if you haven’t oready!

Yesterday there was the dreaded fire drill in the morning and by lunch time, I decided to take the rest of the day off. Hur hur. Tubs came to pick me & Mel up for lunch & we went to Maxwell for porridge. Yummers.
Met the ex for dinner and coffee in the evening. Was supposed to go One Rochester but our plans were foiled by the rain so we had to change venue. I finally got my belated present from him. Hehe. I like.
Today’s finally Thursday. I think I shall meet Chixy today. I’m having withdrawal symptoms from not seeing my bitch for too long. Then I can go buy X’mas cards & what nots as well.
Lunched with Mel, Jun & Tammy. OMG what a small world. Tammy from primary & secondary school, which I had not much recollection of until I saw her. I’m so full from lunch that it’s making me sleepy like hell. I have been trying to figure out the damn Taiwan car rental form and it’s giving me a splitting headache. Its clause is so damn chim. To start with, my Chinese sucks big time. Not helping is that everything is in traditional Chinese.. why can’t it at least be in simplified Chinese?! Argh. Then there are so many terms that are unheard of. Goodness gracious me. And no, online translators are useless cos it’ll just all come out gibberish. SEH!!
I’m happy today cos Mel bought the Stardust DVD and passed it to me. Yay! That’s what I have to resort to when I don’t get down to watching it at the cinemas before they end.

Saturday, went to Orchard for some late nite shopping. It was so crowded but there was no Xmas mood whatsoever. I like this year’s lights though. I think they’re really pretty.
Spent my Isetan vouchers on a top from Mango. Yes, I shop for the sake of shopping cos the top is so damn warm. What do I expect from a winter collection yea. But it’s a good top to wear to work on a cold, rainy day.
Wanted to spend my vouchers at La Senza too but I didn’t see anything I fancy so those can wait.
Headed to cosy bay to slack by the river. The tide was so high we could have dipped our feet in but as usual, the water was so damn gross so we sat there having chips, drinks, ciggies and looking at fishes.
Slacked at home on Sunday and watched The Unbeatables. Shiok! Went to Parkway to walk around abit after that. They have a new apple store and I thought the iTouch was quite a looker.
Then it was dinner at Granny’s house. Drew names for our Xmas gift exchange then went back to Parkway’s newly opened Borders. They have a huge area for Paperchase products which were so pretty but somebody stopped me from buying Xmas cards, saying the price was ridiculous. I’m still sore about it cos yesterday was the last day of their 20% off storewide and that person knows that I’ll just end up going to buy stuff another day when he’s not around. Spoiler! So instead of helping me save money, I’ll actually end up spending more. Damn.

I have oso added afew pictures that have gone missing here and there so backtrack if you’re interested. Nothing much though. Everyone knows I’m not a big fan of picture taking.
Yesterday, the auditors were so damn inconsiderate that I ended up having to wait for them to leave so that I could lock up. That was close to 8pm can. Ben Xiao Jie usually leaves before 6pm lor. TMD. Today I’m meeting Chixy to shop, manicure, pedicure & eat so too bad, I’m leaving early. Haha. OMG I’m speaking like it’s my company. Haha.
Anyhoos, seems like somebody’s friends have taken a sudden interest in me, viewing my Friendster profile etc. Since my profile is public, of course everyone is entitled to view it but I do wonder what set it off, if you know what I mean. But since I dunno them at all + that somebody holds his friends in great esteem, I will take it, no questions asked, that they are genuinely nice people and I shall not probe any further.
I miss Mambo. I miss my boogie boogie, square rooms and summer rains. Which reminds me, somebody I used to know thought it was ‘square root’ instead of ‘square room’. Hahahahhaha!!! This wasn’t the only mistake. We used to have a whole list of blunders he used to make. What a riot. I’m feeling mean today. But that’s what you get for owing me things and being childish – I do not let up. You get my bane when you catch me in the wrong mood.

Met my bitches and their BFs for dinner at Brewerkz Kallang. The portions were so big that we were stuffed after that. They got me Isetan vouchers. Hehe. That means I can go shopping with Chixy soon!
Something happened but i don't wanna say anthing. Not now when I'm still in a good mood. I just think you should reflect on the way you handle situations. Read Chixy's blog & I think that about sums what i feel as well.
Went home to shower and change, and I got a nice surprise. Danceal had sent me something really sweet. I really appreciate it! It’s so pretty and it’s for luck & fortune.

FRIDAY
Went to have the yummiest beef noodles for lunch at Toa Payoh and then we went all the way to Qian Hu for Fish Spa. Haha. I dunno why I wanted to do it cos I am so scared of fishes that I don’t dare come in contact with them (which explains why I don’t go diving/snorkeling). But it was alrite. I was damn squirmish but because there were other people around, I tried not to freak out. It’s basically just ticklish but it’s just weird. Especially when the bigger fishes decide to come have a nibble on your feet, you can really feel it so I take my feet out of the water when they come along. If it helps, I did everything except look at my feet. It didn’t help when tubs stepped on a fish and killed it. OMG. Hahahahaha. All the other fishes came to eat the dead fish so that made me really uncomfortable, seeing them fishes having a feeding frenzy at your feet –shivers-
Went to test drive a particular car and then... it was dinner at M Hotel’s Café 2000 with the folks.
It was a semi-buffet and it was pretty good I gotta say. Thank goodness it was good cos I wasn’t that keen coming back to my work area on my day off. Haha. My cake this year is a strawberry shortcake –yummers-
SATURDAY
Macs brekkie at 5am in the morning. Haha. Afternoon, went to Orchard for lunch at Kam Boat @ Shaw Center. They have really good dim sum! Walked around after that with the intention to blow some money but didn’t see anything I fancied. Went CT after that for awhile then dinner was at Honjin. Second day in a row in my work area when it isn’t a working day but nobody’s complaining when there’s great Japanese buffet for dinner.
Picked Jes up from the MRT station and we headed to Clarke Quay but it was damn crowded so we changed location and met Rachel & Eric at Kallang Brewerkz instead. On the way there, a chee bye Mazda 323 pissed the hell outta me. SFB2908 is a real fucker.
Anyway, it was great catching up with my girls. Everyone is oways so busy that once we do meet up, we can never finish talking. They got me a cake from Crystal Jade which was very simple but nice and oso La Senza vouchers. Looks like I’m gonna have new lingerie for Xmas.

Marina Square to meet the bawdy bunch! My darlings are so cute lah. They got a shock when they saw me with the bag Vince got me. They looked at each other, then they looked at me and asked where the bag was from. They bought the exact same bag for me lah. OMG. Did the picture I post really look that different from the actual thing? Lolx. So they went to change it while I went to KBox first. We got a nice room I gotta say. When they came back, I had a bag PLUS heels. Aawwww!! Thanks my darlings! I really like the pressies.
Dan & Sharon oso came and they bought me the python clutch which I wanted.

Another shocker had befallen me yesterday. My damn insurance premium was due. KNN. More money flying out of my oready pathetic bank account. And together with the sad news was a nice birthday card that came in the mail from Aunty Angie. I dun think the card helped much when I saw the amount I had to pay. Haha. Oh well.
Yesterday nite, went to Terminal 3 to check it out for the heck of it.
After that, went to pick Ben up and we bought drinks and sat at the playground until the mosquitoes started attacking us then it was our very own drift show with the trusty beemer at Kallang carpark. Haha. It wasn’t a very conducive place to drift cos the carpark was tight and the grass was wet. Oso, we soon attracted abit of unwanted attention so we left. We wouldn’t want the cops to come, no.
I’ve got the rest of my weekend more or less planned. Shall not reveal anything til it’s all over. Nothing much really. I’m too nua and too broke to enjoy my birthday properly. It’s unlike me to ask friends out on my birthday and expect everyone to go dutch but this year, I am really fucking broke so bear with it, my darlings. I think that’s the reason why I like having BBQ/steamboat at my place – so people I invite don’t have to pay for meals. I think I would have done that if I haven’t moved house but the fact is I did so… …
Yeah, you can all tell I still haven’t gotten used to staying in a smaller place rite. I miss having a car porch and a garden to BBQ in. I miss the swing that everyone loved to sit on. I miss having the comfort of a big living room where everyone can lounge around and watch shows afterwards. I miss having a big bedroom where all my girlies can slack in. Most of all, I miss having my own bathroom, which gives friends staying over absolute convenience. *sigh*
I haven’t even invited anyone to my new place yet. Unbelievable, considering friends come in and out of my previous place so often that it’s like their own little getaway.
Okok. I shall try to stop grousing over that. At least I have a roof over my head.. and then some. So I should be thankful. Ok.
After my birthday, I shall endeavor to clean up the war zone that’s oso my sleeping sanctuary and get friends to come over. Swimming & BBQ session to be planned soon!

After work yesterday, met Vince at City Hall & we went to Marina Square for dinner. We had fish & chips, oysters and mussels. –yummers- Looks like I got my first birthday present for the year. He had bought a t-shirt which says ‘Princess in a shirt’ and a gold clutch bag for me when he was in BKK. We were so full after that so we went to walk around and he insisted on buying me a bag, which didn’t come cheap.
Taa-Daa!!
Thanks boy! I really like the bag!! After all the walking, we went to Paulaner for some beer which was absolutely heavenly. There was a live band there and I thought they were pretty good. Not the best voice around, but it was just really nice to listen to. The female singer had such a sweet voice and yet, it wasn't overly saccharine. There was a huskiness to her sound and Vince said her voice reminded him of Jewel. I thought so too but too bad there was no power to her voice at all.
Getting a cab after that was pure horror. Why am I not surprised.. all the fucking cabs were ‘on call’ or simply refused to stop. But once we called for a cab, we got one in a jiffy, which was good cos the longer we waited, the more restless we got and all the stupid antics started surfacing. Haha. Vince sent me home after that but I guess the nite wasn’t over for me..
Got home, showered, with my hair still wet, went to pick Chixy up, then Jane, then it was off to the HK café at Katong Village. The drinks weren’t fantastic and they weren't cheap. And from past experience, the food there sucks as well. But it was good catching up with my bitches. I really missed them.
I just wanna thank Vince for the pre-birthday treat. All that expense really wasn’t necessary and I hope you had a good time~

Went to Bugis to walk and I bought a bag! Sad to say, upon looking at it after I got home, I dun like it that much after all. Haha. That’s what happens when I’m set to buy a bag and the one I want is bleedin’ sold out – I settle for second best, which isn’t good enuff for me. Met Alex for a smoke then went to Ivins for dinner. Was supposed to go out after that but the bed + the telly = on-off sleep til early next morning. Dammit.

Woke up at 4+am and went for Macs brekkie and the lady at the counter was bloody crabby. Went back, slept til afternoon, lunched & watched TV at home, then went to Parkway to buy pressie and walk around abit before going for Uncle Roland’s birthday party at some pub in Katong. Left at nite and went for a damn expensive prata which was not my fault at all but my poor little red riding hood had to bear the consequences. *sob sob* Looks like I’m gonna be $70 poorer. Damn the parking warden.

It’s Friday and finally I have time to blog cos the boss & the bitch are on leave. Also, I have finally completed most of my work. There’s abit more to do but I don’t think it’s needed in a hurry so I slowly do it for the rest of the day. It’s sure to help me pass time quick. Before the weekend is here, I shall look back on what I have been up to these past few days.
Tuesday was late nite gallivanting to the airport with Chixy to meet Kailing & Mandy. That’s when my holiday mood started kicking in.
Met Dan & Sharon at Marina Square after that to shop & then we went to Punggol Park for one helluva expensive dinner.
I shall try to get down to thinking what I’m going to do for my birthday. I’m still so not in the mood to celebrate my birthday lah but I do wanna meet my darlings. So *hint hint* it’s something that will benefit them more than myself.

Wednesday was dinner at Coffee Club with the folks. Went to Dempsey at nite to celebrate Marcus’s birthday and then it was off to Boon Lay cos I had been craving for Boon Lay Nasi Lemak for the longest time. But the queue was such a turn off so we went Balestier for Bak Kut Teh instead.
Slept into the afternoon on Thursday and it was lunch at Changi Village. Finally got to eat some Nasi Lemak. Went to Singex for Super Import Nights. Nice cars but I thought it was too cheaply done. I think the only thing worth seeing was the drift show in the carpark.

Yesterday, went for porridge steamboat buffet dinner with tubs & my bitches. Hope Chixy likes her bday pressie!
Now, I would like to say something. It’s touchy but I still feel I gotta say it bcos I thought it was totally uncalled for. It’s not to pick a fight, but to let you know since you are so hard to talk to nowadays. I’m not in the most comfortable position as those involved are so close to me. I would have dropped it but it did cause someone to feel uncomfortable and that person chose not to retaliate and I can’t bring myself to just let it go. It has nothing to do with me but I feel that I’m the only one who can stand up and say something about it. I hope you take some time and think about that comment you passed. You may think it was a subtle comment but I’m telling you now that it had more effect on others than you know.
Firstly, think about whether that comment was directed at the right person in the first place. If someone is present, maybe bcos they were invited? So to make the clueless ‘guest’ feel like they weren’t supposed to be there is just wrong.
Secondly, if your other half wasn’t invited bcos he announced that he wasn’t free before he could be asked, whose fault is it? It may be meant as a joke, but it oso demeans the invitee. To be ‘rejected’ before someone can even ask, you can’t really expect that person to ask after that right. It becomes like begging in a way. Aiyah, I dunno how to say la. It may sound petty but I guess you can only understand if you put yourself in that person’s shoes.
And it’s all these coupled with a lot of other things that has been going on for the past week or so that makes everything very frustrating. There’s only so much I can act like nothing’s happening but it can get tiring and it’s tiring only bcos we are concerned friends who can’t get thru to you.
To not wanna open up on your own is one thing, to be prompted to share what’s wrong and still insisting on ‘nothing’ is another thing. What are we to do in a situation such as this? As much as we love you, you can’t just show us a sudden change in attitude and expect that we know what’s wrong. Try to open up to us and talk about things next time ok?
Ok that’s enough of that for now. I’m so looking forward to the holiday on Thursday. Mandy is tempting me by asking me to club on Wednesday but I know I will be very crabby cos everywhere will be packed. There won’t be any space to dance & going for a smoke will be a real pain.

In the evening, met up with darling Mandy & Guoan at AMK Hub cos I needed serious help with some work. We didn’t meet up for long cos I thot we had it figured out. Yes, I THOUGHT.
FRIDAY
Tubs sent me to work in the morning and I was doing my work when I realized something was wrong and that we didn’t figure it out that well the nite before. Haha. So I couldn’t do my work and the damned internet was down so I was left hanging. Decided to take half day leave instead. Yippie! Went down to Raffles Place to lunch with Chixy, then to Chinatown to pass Mandy something. Cabbed home and just as well cos it started raining after that.
Evening was dinner at A-Roy Thai and then we went to the pet shop next door to look at doggies.
SATURDAY
Parkway was absolute mayhem. There were so many people and there were snaking queues everywhere. There was some mad sale or something going on there. We knew cos we got the flyer but we still went. Haha. Went to trim my hair and I think I am going to steal tub’s hairdresser from now on. I like the way he did my hair. Haha. I wanted to buy facial wash and a clutch bag but the crowd was sucha turn off. I shall get it another day!
Met Dan & Sharon at Tung Lok ECP for dinner. It was a buffet so I shall not bother mentioning how obscene the amount of food they ordered was. The service was terrible but later after showing our displeasure, it improved so we let it go. Later on in the nite, we went to Brewerkz near Cosy Bay. Nice place to slack cos it’s so empty and so quiet. That’s until 2 Russian guys decided to fight and started punching and breaking glasses. How entertaining.

Went to Tung Lok ECP on Sunday for dim sum lunch with the folks. Me & tubs wanted to laugh, thinking of our dinner there the night before. *pukes* How ironic it is that the same person who gave us horrid service the nite before treated us so nicely the next day. *sigh*
Met up with Mandy & Guoan in the evening at Vivo to resolve the damn problem. Haha. I think it’s not completely corrected, but it’s of some help at least. Thanks babe for your time!
Later at nite, went to Sandilands to give my Chixy her birthday hug. But bcos it started raining, we went to a coffeeshop nearby with she & Kel for a short kopi session.

Tubs came to pick me up for lunch & it was a killer. Went to The Central & ate @ Tonkatsu. The food there is great but not a good lunch choice cos time was so tight!
Going to meet up with my bitches later for dinner to celebrate Chixy’s belated birthday with her. I can’t wait even though I’m near bursting.
