Holiday mood for me today!
Another shocker had befallen me yesterday. My damn insurance premium was due. KNN. More money flying out of my oready pathetic bank account. And together with the sad news was a nice birthday card that came in the mail from Aunty Angie. I dun think the card helped much when I saw the amount I had to pay. Haha. Oh well.
Yesterday nite, went to Terminal 3 to check it out for the heck of it.
After that, went to pick Ben up and we bought drinks and sat at the playground until the mosquitoes started attacking us then it was our very own drift show with the trusty beemer at Kallang carpark. Haha. It wasn’t a very conducive place to drift cos the carpark was tight and the grass was wet. Oso, we soon attracted abit of unwanted attention so we left. We wouldn’t want the cops to come, no.
I’ve got the rest of my weekend more or less planned. Shall not reveal anything til it’s all over. Nothing much really. I’m too nua and too broke to enjoy my birthday properly. It’s unlike me to ask friends out on my birthday and expect everyone to go dutch but this year, I am really fucking broke so bear with it, my darlings. I think that’s the reason why I like having BBQ/steamboat at my place – so people I invite don’t have to pay for meals. I think I would have done that if I haven’t moved house but the fact is I did so… …
Yeah, you can all tell I still haven’t gotten used to staying in a smaller place rite. I miss having a car porch and a garden to BBQ in. I miss the swing that everyone loved to sit on. I miss having the comfort of a big living room where everyone can lounge around and watch shows afterwards. I miss having a big bedroom where all my girlies can slack in. Most of all, I miss having my own bathroom, which gives friends staying over absolute convenience. *sigh*
I haven’t even invited anyone to my new place yet. Unbelievable, considering friends come in and out of my previous place so often that it’s like their own little getaway.
Okok. I shall try to stop grousing over that. At least I have a roof over my head.. and then some. So I should be thankful. Ok.
After my birthday, I shall endeavor to clean up the war zone that’s oso my sleeping sanctuary and get friends to come over. Swimming & BBQ session to be planned soon!

My care bears, little ponies, monchichi, pound puppies, my piggy bank full of old coins etc. Where they have gone, I have no idea but I’m so sad. I know they still sell those toys but it’s just different. Those were with me since 20 or so years ago –sob sob-
