Yet another rainy morning, yet another fab day to sleep in. Thank goodness I had plenty of sleep on Monday night cos yesterday, I was back in action, gallivanting at nite.
After work yesterday, met Vince at City Hall & we went to Marina Square for dinner. We had fish & chips, oysters and mussels. –yummers- Looks like I got my first birthday present for the year. He had bought a t-shirt which says ‘Princess in a shirt’ and a gold clutch bag for me when he was in BKK. We were so full after that so we went to walk around and he insisted on buying me a bag, which didn’t come cheap.

Thanks boy! I really like the bag!! After all the walking, we went to Paulaner for some beer which was absolutely heavenly. There was a live band there and I thought they were pretty good. Not the best voice around, but it was just really nice to listen to. The female singer had such a sweet voice and yet, it wasn't overly saccharine. There was a huskiness to her sound and Vince said her voice reminded him of Jewel. I thought so too but too bad there was no power to her voice at all.
Getting a cab after that was pure horror. Why am I not surprised.. all the fucking cabs were ‘on call’ or simply refused to stop. But once we called for a cab, we got one in a jiffy, which was good cos the longer we waited, the more restless we got and all the stupid antics started surfacing. Haha. Vince sent me home after that but I guess the nite wasn’t over for me..
Got home, showered, with my hair still wet, went to pick Chixy up, then Jane, then it was off to the HK café at Katong Village. The drinks weren’t fantastic and they weren't cheap. And from past experience, the food there sucks as well. But it was good catching up with my bitches. I really missed them.
I just wanna thank Vince for the pre-birthday treat. All that expense really wasn’t necessary and I hope you had a good time~
