The boss is back today. I expected doomsday but it hasn’t happened YET. Yesterday was such a stressful day that even though I left work late, I couldn’t stop thinking about work. It was so bad I just had to get out so I met my bitches for dinner at Hanabi. Yes, it’s like the 4th time in less than a week that I’ve eaten there.
The manager is a little freaky though. He went smoking with us, and then kept coming over to chit chat and he asked us to go to his house in KL during CNY.. WTH.. I like friendly service but his extra mile is a little unnerving.
Anyway, we ate until we were so full and then we popped by the pet shop and my doggie is still there! After that we went next door and shared a banana split. So much for being full eh. We all went home after that, thinking we can meet again after I had gone home to wash my hair but once I got home and showered, I was too lazy to drive again and so was Chixy so we ended up staying at home.
I felt much better after meeting my bitches. I lub them so much. They are the few people who can actually get my mind off what’s bothering me. Now you know why as tired as I am everyday after meeting them til the wee hours of the morning, I am not complaining.
I can’t believe today is only Tuesday.
*sigh*
This morning’s meeting was a killer. I was fighting not to yawn during the entire 2 hours and I couldn’t sit still. It didn’t help that the lights were so bright and white that I was drifting into another world.
But it’s over. And now I’m so full and sleepy. Once again, I can’t wait for work to end.
