It’s been a mad day for me. Busy is good. Mad busy is just, well, crazy.
I think it shows how much work is taking a toll on me when I slept my precious Friday and Saturday nites away. Unbelievable but true.
Friday after work, was off to Dunman for my fave tien ji zhou. I can’t really remember what happened after that but while “thinking” where to go for the night, I fell asleep on and off until 8am the next morning. KNN. So Macs breakfast it was before heading home and I finally got down to watching the ‘Red Line’ DVD.
Lunched at Genki sushi on Saturday afternoon before heading to Pasir Ris to see dogs. I’m pretty intent on getting a toy poodle but a Bernese Mountain Dog totally blew us away.. just when we were so psyched, someone bought it. *sigh* I guess its just not meant to be..

Isn’t it such a darling?!
One of the guys, I think he’s the boss, decided to show us his hidden gem. A Mastiff!!! It’s not on display to the public so either you gotta request to see it, or you gotta catch the boss in a good mood. Ours was the latter and we didn’t regret it one bit. It’s the only one in Singapore and the one he had was 4 months old but it was so freaking huge. I know all mastiffs are huge but this is beyond anything I’ve seen. If a 4 month old dog comes to higher than my waist level when it’s on all fours, and my hand looks tiny next to its mouth, I don’t dare imagine how gigantic it’ll be when it’s fully grown. It’ll be like rearing your very own lion at home. Thank goodness I’m not that taken in by it even though it was way impressive. So if anyone is interested, be prepared to have 24 hours aircon running for this dog and the dog costs $25000. Yep. Hur hur. Here’s a pic I found off the internet. The one I saw was long furred but I couldn’t find a picture of it online but here’s just a rough idea of a grown Mastiff for you guys.

After that we did come across a toy poodle that tugged at our heart strings but it cost more than what a poodle should cost and the fur seemed a little sparse so too bad.
Went car viewing after that and then we went to Anchorpoint where I bought so many clothes. I never knew there were so many factory outlet stores there. They weren’t necessarily clothes with defects. Some where just from past seasons and the prices were crazy so I think I kinda went overboard with the shopping.
It was another round of “thinking” where to go for the nite and what do you know, it was morning the next time I opened my eyes. Haha.
Slacked at home on Sunday til it was time to go over to Granny’s for dinner. Went to pick Chixy up and after a lot of driving around to look for a place to have a drink, we ended up at where we first set off from – outside Sandilands.
