It’s finally Friday! I am so looking forward to this weekend BUT it’s unsettling that everything at work is still a mess AND I have about 1 more week til my paper and I haven’t even started reading the notes yet.
Anyway, I had my reunion dinner yesterday. Yup. Haha. It’s like 2 - 3 weeks before CNY lah. That’s cos uncle Tuck Yew won’t be in the country so yesterday was the best choice. We ate at Hanabi @ Katong Mall. It was Japanese Ala-carte buffet @ $30++ per person and I thought the food was pretty good. I think there was a promo that for every 4 people, you have a choice of complimentary lobster or king crab. Because there were 12 of us, everyone got to try it both. Now that Hanabi is so close to home, I think it’s gonna give Waraku a run for its money. Haha.
After dinner, went home, got changed, then took the car to pick up my bitches from Parkway. Jane bought a bag full of sanitary napkins. I think she must have burst her womb and Chixy bought kim chee which stank up my whole car. It smelt like a dirty public toilet man. LOLx.
We went to pick tubs up then we headed to Punggol Park. We ordered a drink each and there were steak fries, skinful chicken, deep fried calamari and chicken nuggets. I dunno why they ordered so much cos I could barely eat anything after the killer dinner I had. But we still managed to finish most of it. Haha. Never underestimate the power of our appetite.
Dropped my bitches off, then it was home to wash my hair and I was left with 4 hours to sleep *sigh*
I can smell the weekend but I can’t touch it yet. 3 more hours. Why can’t the time pass faster?
