Bye bye $100,00000. Sob sob. My 10 Million Dollar dream has gone down the drain *sigh* Haha. I had a set which was so near yet so far. Guess it’s just not meant to be mine. But it’s all in the name of fun. I guess I’ll never be a hard core gambler cos I actually forgot I bought ToTo until someone had to remind me then I went to check. Haha.
Left work during lunch yesterday and met my bitches for ban mian. It’s been such a long time since I last ate that. Yummers. Was trying to find a seamstress but what I didn’t know was that they took 2-3 weeks to make a dress and it costs more than $100 –faints- All I want is a simple white dress lor. I gave up on that notion and if I don’t find a white dress by this weekend, I guess I’ll wear the dress Jane lent me. However, it is damn stressful to borrow new clothes from people lah. We came across one which I didn’t fancy that much and it costs more than $90. Usually I would have no problem spending that amount on a dress but the shop was one of those dingy looking ones along the streets, run by china people and the material sucks. When I decided not to buy, she told me she’ll gimme a 20% discount. Go fly kite lah. Wanna ‘ka’ people oso not like that one lor.
We went to look at tattoos and I think I’ve decided on which part of my body my next tattoo will be. The only thing is that I haven’t decided on a pattern yet. Since I oready have a coloured tattoo, my next one will be shaded. Therefore I NEED a good tattooist.
We went to book an appointment for Monday. That’s a good date. If it had been end of next week, I’ll be in pain during Rach’s wedding. Haha.
My darling bitches walked around Parkway with me for abit in a futile search for my white dress, then we decided to sit at Swensens. And we ordered a Sundae each. And we couldn’t finish it. And we were laughing at stupid things. Then we decided to take a cab back. Once I got home, we left the house within 15mins to go Granny’s for dinner. Wonderful right. Since Granny’s house is just beside Parkway, I still wanted to go home so I could at least change out of my office clothes. Hur Hur.
Dinner was fab as usual. The yummiest porridge with crazy amounts of ‘liao’, noodles and yu shang. I really need to learn how to cook from Grandma.
Watched the announcement of the results when Singapore won its bid to stage the first Summer Youth Olympic Games in 2010. Yay! I don't care much about the Youth Olympic but i do care about our country's main source of sustainance – Tourism. I hope everything booms for us – Singapore Flyer, F1, IR, Youth Olympic etc. Delay the damn recession!
On the news was oso Edison issuing his statement regarding the photo scandal. I’m so sad that Edison is gonna quit the entertainment industry. One less cutie to look at. He looks so cute while issuing the statement saying that he was the one who took the fotos. But seriously, I understand that this is very distressing for the girls. But all the fotos were taken willingly lor. As for Edison, I think it was damn dumb of him to let the pictures have such easy access to the public. Other than that, I don’t think it’s such a big deal and I think all there is to this saga is they damn ‘sway’ lor. And when you dare to take such fotos, you have to think that there will oways be a chance it’ll be leaked so basically, they are all asking for it. but that’s not the point. I still wanna see more of Edison in the future lah.
I nearly fell into early concussion last nite. After I washed my hair, I was drifting in and out of sleep til 2+am when I decided – I have to wake up and dry my hair!!! By then it was semi dry and fucked up so there wasn’t much to save but sitting in front of the fan just made me all the more sleepy and cold. During my state of semi-consciousness, I do remember receiving and replying some messages though. Weird. I hope I didn’t send anyone any rubbish messages.
Yay its Friday today! Can the time just please fast forward to 6pm?
