I just realized how soon it is to Rach’s wedding. And I oso realize how unprepared I am. I haven’t even got myself a white dress yet –faints-
Yesterday after work, went to Bugis with my bitches supposedly for coffee but we ended up buying things to snack on. Met Rach & Bessie after that and we went to Xian De Lai to wait for Jes. I have to say I’m actually quite sick of that place. Maybe bcos I find the place too squeezy and too hot. And I hate how the smoke gets in my face.
During dinner, we did some catching up with each other and then we got down to the main topic proper – talking about Rach’s wedding next week. It’s so soon and it’s gonna be so hectic but it’s a joyous occasion so I hope she & Ah boy can just enjoy the process of it all and not get too stressed over it. I guess I can understand that its such a big day for them and that they want everything to go smoothly but all these sometimes can lead to tension and if there’s gonna be tempers flaring with each other over their own wedding than I think that’s really not the way. Just relax and have fun. Everything will turn out perfect when the time comes so don’t lose sleep over this!
My dear Rachel has gotten so skinny lah. She weighs a grand total of 35kg now and still shrinking. By next week, I don’t even know if I will be able to see her anymore. She better fatten up and get some boobies back if not she’ll look like a child bride. Hahaha.
Anyway, after dinner, we moved opposite to Ah Chew’s for dessert. My mango sago with pomelo was so damn sweet but it’s been a long time since I last had it. Continued planning for the wedding and by the time I got home, it was oready after midnite.
*YAWN*
I am so tempted to take the day off tomorrow but I think my boss isn't gonna be too happy about it. but I really need the time to settle stuff lah. I have become a slave to the company. Boo Hoo.
