It was after reading Mandy’s blog that I realized Valentine’s Day is only 3 days away. This year’s Valentine’s Day mood has yet to hit me. As I get older, I’m becoming more and more immune to occasions. Not. Haha.
I think its bcos me and tubs got our pressies well settled in advance. And knowing he had given this day much thought just makes me happy enuff. I dunno if we’ll go out for dinner on Valentine’s Day, but it won’t matter even if we didn’t. Cos it’s weird being out with the whole world and their partners, fighting for space to eat, and seeing everyone carrying flowers. I love flowers but I’m not one who likes holding a bouquet and walking around. I’d be tempted as hell to put them in a paper bag and carry them around instead.
Tubs had initially planned for us to take Thursday and Friday off from work and we’ll run away from Singapore for abit but knowing my current situation, that’s near impossible so I think we’ll have a little weekend getaway instead. Work is a real bummer but he of all people would be able to understand cos he’s so much busier than me.
As oways, I’m not gonna divulge too much before things can happen cos this is pretty last min but I’m a happy girl oready. And in case things don’t go as well as planned, I wouldn’t feel that bad cos tubs came down to pick me up for lunch and Tony Roma’s was so quiet we practically had then entire place to ourselves. So before Valentine’s Day is here, I oready had a present which I love and a nice lunch.
