Work is really killing me. It’s making me fall sick, and it’s haunting me even when I’m not at work. I think it’s time to have a talk with the boss when he comes back from his holiday next week. I refuse to let work take over my life and risk my health and sanity.
Met my bitches at nite and we went to ECP. Jane was designated driver for the nite. Shiok. It’s nice to be driven around once in awhile. We didn’t stay out that long though. Chixy was having diarrhea and I was tired before I could reach 2am so we all called it a nite. I think it was oso we weren’t in a very comfy place. Our usual place was still open for business so we ended up sitting on the steps at the Tamiya place, where the music was loud and lights were bright. Then came 4 cats who entertained us for awhile. They were so cute lah.
I’m taking half day today to go CNY clothes shopping with my bitches. Not that I can be bothered to buy new clothes for CNY, but more like I just wanna be out shopping for the heck of it. I have been nothing but busy and flustered this morning so I really need the break from work. I’ve said it before but I’m gonna say it again – I hate liaising with people who are half the world away. When I’ve got important things to settle, US is having a nice sleep. Anyway my reunion dinner is tonite so I might as well be out and about so that I can go for dinner straight away since it’s in town anyways.
Those having the whole/ half day off tomorrow, lucky you cos it’s a full day of work for me. That’s unless the boss remembers us on his vacation and drops us a mail saying we can go off early. Sometimes I really don’t fancy the way he handles things. But since he has been nothing but nice to me so far, I shall not complain.
