I think there must be some really potent viruses in my system. It’s been slightly over a week and I’m still not well. When the weekend came, I figured I felt slightly better. But I guess I was wrong.
Friday night, skipped dinner cos I still didn’t have any appetite and tubs & I went to Sentosa. It was there when I realized I wasn’t feeling as well as I thought so after walking around abit and finding somewhere to sit and talk, we left Sentosa. Took some pictures but the pictures are abit blurry.
Sometimes, it can be quite a headache thinking of somewhere nice and quiet to chill on a weekend. So I guess Sentosa was a great place.
Was running a fever by the time I got home so popped some medication and went to bed. Woke up on Sat and we watched Jumper cos tubs had yet to watch it and I didn’t mind watching it a second time.
Was supposed to meet my bitches at 830pm at Raffles City’s Shokudo but because I was sick at home, I ended up reaching a little later. My darlings Yuan Yuan & Mandy were there as well. I miss them so much. Everyone was eating so much and the food looked so good but I couldn’t bring myself to eat anything. What a bummer. I attempted eating a little Rosti but it made me sick to my stomach so that was the end of my dinner. Bought pineapple juice cos they said it was good for my tummy so I think that was about the yummiest thing that could go down with my medicine. Tiger bought Jane a cake so we sang her a birthday song and cut the cake there.
We were trying for a long time to think of where to go next and somehow we couldn’t find a suitable movie to watch and so we ended up at Punggol Park. Usually, when there’s the 3 of us girls, we never fail to dominate the conversation. But at Punggol Park, the guys were so on form talking about gambling that the 3 of us girls were damn seh. I know they are having evil plans to drag us along to one of their gambling cruise plan.
Went home after that for a much needed rest. Woke up on Sunday and tubs brought me to the doc. I got a different diagnosis and a different set of medication plus an injection. I hope this time it works better. Went to granny’s for dinner and tubs ate so much. I think he must be eating on my behalf cos I could barely put any food in my mouth. Tried to eat a little and it all come out not long after. Fab.
It’s Monday and my stomach still feels a little queasy. I forgot to bring my medicine to work somehow so I guess I’ll give myself afew more days to see if the situation improves. This really sucks man.
I did wonder if stress played a part in this whole me falling sick thing. Cos I really can’t wait for this one month to pass. For those of you who haven’t heard yet, my office is relocating to London and I think that is why I have been up to my neck with work. Cos I am as good as single handedly wrapping up the office. And guess where’s the boss right now? Holidaying in Phuket. 1 more month. I shall tahan til the end before I give myself a good break.
The cleaner aunty bought me bee hoon for breakfast today. OMG it smells good but I really can’t eat it. Boo Hoo.
