Today is the start of the end. And I am not looking forward to it. At least I had a good break yesterday with my girlies Jes & Rachel. Too bad Bessie couldn’t make it.
Yesterday I left work slightly earlier. Half an hour early to be exact. Doesn’t seem like much but it sure makes a whole load of difference to me considering the way I’ve been working my ass off. Went home but the mother wasn’t back with the car yet so once she got home, I went down to school to collect my books. Thank goodness I drove cos it was heavy as hell. But parking there is a killer and so is the ERP. But at the same time, I can’t imagine shuttling back home on the bus/MRT everytime class ends. I really would take a cab, but by the time class ends, there will be a horribly long queue for cabs and that sucks. It doesn’t help that my time-table is a real killer. It leaves me with absolutely no life. Other than it being in the evenings and on weekends, it doesn’t feel like a part time course at all. I think the hours are just as long as any full time course. I feel so cheated.
Anyway, after collecting my stuff from school, I went down to XDL to meet my girlies for dinner. Rachel bought us stuff from her honeymoon. Yay! I ate really little cos I was quite sick of the food but it was quite alright cos it was pretty empty yesterday. We had a good time catching up though. Rachel had a sore eye so Jes accompanied her in her car to act as her eyes and I followed them to Rachel’s place. After that, me & Jes went to find tubs for a smoke and then I sent Jes home before heading back. My hair is really much easier to dry after cutting it *sigh* That’s a good thing but I still don’t like how it looks though all those who have seen it likes it.
I think it was 4am when I went to sleep and I woke up late. It wasn’t enuff to make me late for work, but still I hate rushing. I like to be ready slightly earlier so that I can laze in bed for awhile before leaving the house.
I can’t help but complain about the weather. It is a real bitch!! It’s far too hot and far too humid. And I’m not the only one complaining. Urgh. Also, hot + humid = bad hair day.
It’s times like these when I really miss smoking indoors with the aircon on. Clubs are one thing, what I really miss is CAN Café!! Just sink into their sofas and relax in the dimly lit aircon café, enjoying a variety of drinks and snacks while playing cards/ board games and smoking. That is the way to enjoy life. But once the smoking ban took effect, the whole place closed down. Sad.
I do wonder if I get my own house next time, will I turn on the aircon and smoke. Haha. I hope not but sometimes temptation gets the better of me. But I seriously doubt I’ll do that. But everytime I go traveling, it just comes naturally to smoke in the hotel room. Shiok lah.
Can you tell that my mind is oready drifting away from work? Haha. I’m daydreaming lor. Hahaha.
