I cannot get to sleep. It’s not a big problem, except that I have to wake up in probably 3 hours’ time cos the mother has asked me to go out with her. To the Singapore Museum or something if I heard correctly.
This weekend wasn’t too bad. Managed to meet up with some friends and I oso managed to do some shopping.
Friday nite, went to Dunman for Tien Ji Zhou at about midnite then we went to Lavender to meet Ben. It’s been awhile and that boy is oways lotsa fun to be around. I may be an easy person to get along with, but not everyone rocks my boat the right way. Ben does. He somehow has the right mix of crap talk + serious talk. Looks like we’ve got a double date planned this coming week! We hung out til pretty damn late.. By the time we got home, tubs forced me to sleep pronto cos he knows I’ll be crabby and paranoid once the sun comes up.
Saturday was shopping day! But first it was lunch at Carl’s Jr @ Playground. I wouldn’t consider shopping at Vivo fruitful. I bought a pair of shorts from River Island and a dress from Froever21 but it just didn’t feel shiok enuff. I nearly blew some cash at La Senza but I’ve got way too much lingerie oready so I stopped myself. Haha.
We only managed to walk the first level cos we had to go tub’s granny’s house for dinner. Quite a bummer but my legs were in pain by then so I guess it was might as well that we had to leave. On the first level at the Spain 2 Dream section, they had live size cut outs of Rossi. -swoon- I wanted to ask if I could have it or if they could sell it to me but I ended up not asking. I’m still feeling a tad sore about it so I think I’ll call and ask tomorrow. Haha. Tubs is not supportive at all. He keeps calling my Rossi “monkey face”. KNS.
Met Dan & Sharon at nite at CHIJMES and parking there is a bloody rip-off. $9 per entry. And it’s self park. Not valet parking. WTH. Opened a bottle of Chivas and the boys had a good time watching the Spain-Sweden match. I thot the match was a joke. It was like watching a bunch of amateurs playing and the goals were not solid at all.
After the match, we went to Mustafa to meet Mel & Jun to walk around abit. After that we had yummy Bak Chor Mee for supper and I have to say the Nasi Lemak was tempting as well. Lolx. By the time we got home, the sun was gonna come up oready so to bed it was!
Slept in on Sunday went Parkway to walk around abit before going Granny’s house for dinner. I have a sudden interest in Jade and I hope I do have some self control because Jade can be quite an expensive hobby to upkeep I have to admit.. But I saw some very nice Jade pieces at Parkway and tubs agreed to let me buy it next week if I still can’t get it out of my mind.
Everyone is traveling lah. *sigh* Aunty Corina is in Thailand, so is Mandy dear, Aunty Soo Lee is going to Japan, Jes is going to HK, Mel is going down under, Rachel is going on a business trip, Elvin is flying back from Australia and Aunty Cat is flying back from Sweden. I wanna go for a holiday lah! Shall get something planned out soon.
By the way, the ex bf’s birthday was on Sunday. Shall meet up with him soon for our routine pass present + dinner session. Time to think of where to go this time round for his belated mini birthday celebration.
I hate to say this but I have a feeling I’m going to buy a LV bag. Over the years, my love for LV has decreased by a lot. Sometimes, just looking at the monogram pattern makes me bored but I dunno what hit me suddenly but I started seeing some bags I like. I think I just like big-ass bags. I told tubs and he gave me the you’ve-oready-got-too-many-bags death stare. I think I’d take abit more time to consider before making an impulse buy. But I do think I deserve a treat for working my ass off in my previous job. Haha. I know. Excuses, excuses. But if it makes me happy, I dun see why not. It’s food for the soul.
