The weekend is over once again. And time is passing really quickly. I’ve been bumming for awhile now and I still haven’t got anything done *sigh* I need to find my “path” soon. Haha. Maybe after a holiday lah.
This was not a bad weekend.
Friday night was pretty short. We only went drinking with uncle Roland cos tubs was tired but I guess if I let him rest early, we can go out til later the next day. Haha.
Saturday, we went all the way to Toa Payoh just for lunch cos the beef noodles there is that good. After the very satisfying lunch, we went to Pasir Ris farm to look at puppies! We saw a Shih Tzu which was cute as hell and it wasn’t even expensive! We were that close to bringing it home with us. I want a dog so bad! But I gotta be patient. I’ll get one as soon as I get my own place.
After seeing puppies, we went to Ikea to walk before joining the parents for dinner. I dunno why daddy decided to eat seafood cos his gout is BAD and seafood triggers it. I didn’t fancy the food too much but we were stuffed after that. Went to meet tub’s aunties and uncles after that at Aranda and they drank all the way til 4am -seh- These oldies can really drink and they can really tahan staying out til so late man. But being out with them is oways a load of fun.
Sunday, went to watch Deception.
The show was not too bad. Hugh Jackman is hotness. We wanted to skip dinner at Granny’s cos it would be a little too rushed after the movie but Granny tempted us with what she was gonna cook for dinner and tubs couldn’t resist it so we went down straight after the show. Haha.
I convinced tubs to take leave on Monday and I guess my persuasion skills worked cos yesterday nite, we went to Alex’s place to watch the UEFA Euro 2008.
And………
I won back some of my shopping money. Haha. Viva Espana!!
I’m not one to bet but I was pretty sure Spain would win and tubs bet for Germany so I decided to ease the loss abit. Hahahaha.
And because tubs took leave today, we went to ECP Tung Lok for dim sum lunch. Yummers. The beemer is gonna be a thing of the past.. Tomorrow it is going away for good oready. *sigh* I guess when it starts giving problems, it really should go. Now we shall just look forward to the new car. Hur hur. I think I’ll miss the beemer a tad though.
Anyway, now it’s time to look for Bangkok hotels. What a bloody tiring process cos there’re so many to choose from and we need to narrow it down to a nice hotel at a good location at the right price.
