My body is aching. Especially my feet. Why? Cos Chixy and I decided to go dig for lalas. I dun eat them.. Especially when they are fresh from the river but I knew it was going to be lots of fun. Only I didn’t expect it to be this tiring. We met for dinner at Parkway and then while walking around, we saw a gorgeous black and gold bikini but I had some self control so I didn’t buy it. Haha. But what I did see that I think I’ll buy if I continue to lust over it, is a dress and a bag. I have a feeling they’ll be mine soon. Anyway, after that, we went to Giant and we bought snacks for our little outing and then we went to her coop to take lala catching gear and because we were so unprepared, we just took a plastic container, plastic bags, torch lights and shovel (ok.. We took a rice scoop from Chixy’s kitchen. Hahaha). We went everywhere looking for somewhere to buy a fishnet but we couldn’t find anywhere selling one and when we gave up, we went everywhere looking for a spot to dig lalas and it took us forever to find a spot near the stadium. And that’s when the fun started. Chixy dug for lalas while I used the container to catch fish. Yup, they swim so near the shore you can just scoop ’em up but you gotta be real quick. I got the hang of it real soon and other than fishes, we caught this thing which looks like a worm but it had a fish tail and a snout. Lala digging wasn’t too successful and it didn’t take long for us to be really tired. But because it was so fun and because Chixy still harbours hope of digging lotsa lalas, we have decided to go lala digging again tomorrow (technically later) in the after noon so that we won’t need to hold a torch light while digging. I just hope I don’t get sun-burnt. I dun wanna be peeling at Bessie’s wedding. Haha.
I know I haven’t been blogging for a week oready.. Nothing much to blog about lah. Just some random things to mention like that Jes is in HK now. I wish I’m there as well. I love HK. Oh. And Sunday’s dinner at Paramount was shiok to the max. Paramount Tung Lok’s buffet is one of the few buffets which I think I can make the money worth. We were so stuffed after that that plans to eat durian after dinner had to be shelved.
And while I am still on the topic of food, we had Dunman TJZ over the weekend again. We are super regular customers there man.
And tubs decided to be a sweetie and bought me a stuffed toy while we were out shopping on Sunday. I’ve seen this cartoon character around before but I’ve never figured out what animal it’s supposed to be so tubs called it a creature…
Taa-daa!
Ok that’s all for now folks. Oh. And if everything goes according to plan, I should be getting my tattoo done within the next 2 weeks. It shall remain a mystery for now but once it‘s done, I’ll share it with everyone.
Good nite world!
