It’s been a busy weekend, but it was a weekend filled with happy events.
Thursday, met my bitches to do nails and we ended up at a new place at Roxy cos the price was pretty ok and the place was really nice. The chairs were massage chairs and we could actually plug in our own MP3 to listen to while having a massage, and we could oso bring DVDs to watch while doing nails. The products they used were good and I had a really good foot scrub and lavender soak. However, maybe cos they are pretty new, they didn’t do my nails the way I would have liked it to be done. I wanted it shorter but somehow they didn’t bother cutting my nails and instead filed it all the way and after awhile it was getting irritating so I just left it just a tad longer than what I wanted at first. The paint job wasn’t fab either and I think I could have done a better job myself so I guess I’ll give them a longer time to be better at their trade, and go back to the other nail parlor in the mean time. For now, I shall see how long it takes for my current paint job to start peeling. Haha.
Friday, went over to Granny’s for lunch and then came home to help the mother clean the floor. And just in the nick of time, Jes called and asked me to go do our hair together and so I went to thin my hair. It feels utterly fried now but it’s so much lighter so I guess it’s time to buy a hair mask. Anyway, in the evening, Mel came to pick both of us in a cab and we headed to ParkRoyal for Bessie’s wedding. The 6 of us crazy ppl were sitting with 3 old aunties and another person so our table was filled with mad laughter but it was a small cosy wedding and it was good to see my dear girl looking so radiant despite the pregnancy making her a little unwell. And no, this is not a shotgun wedding. The wedding was planned a long long time ago, and her one month pregnancy was planned as well. I’m so excited for her!
That night, we went to Yishun Dam to look for Mandy dear who was there with her friends.
Guys + Cars = Instant Friends
So Mandy and I had a good time enjoying each other's company. Haha.
(Thanks dear for all the fotos you took for Glenn and I but I'm not gonna post any here. For me to keep only. Haha)
Saturday was a special day. And I don’t mean cos it’s National Day. Haha. Tubs and I went lunching at The Line and we went to take some fotos near my previous house cos that place holds a lot of memories for us.
Shang Dollars. Haha. I remember the last time we ate there, we spent our Shang Dollars on a pot of tea. This time, since there's no more smoking in the lobby while sipping on tea, we decided to screw the damn dollars.

In the evening, we went somewhere quiet to watch the fireworks. And at nite we went JB for dinner with Jack, his wife, and his friend and we were stuffed after that but it was damn shiok lah. And the weather was fab. Went to find Ben and gang after that cos the boy decided to take a break from clubbing and went pawning instead. Macs breakfast after that. Yay!
Sunday, shall not expose too much of what tubs and I did during the day so I shall just fast forward the day til dinner time. Steamboat dinner at Mandy’s house to celebrate her birthday. Yum yum yum! I hope my dear girl liked what we did for her even though it’s nothing much at all and other than a few cock-ups here and there, everyone was great in trying to make the whole thing a success! I didn't take any fotos as usual but with this bunch of cam-whores, I am not afraid of not having any fotos so with a bit of resourcefulness, here’s a whole bunch of fotos.
The room, The balloons, and The very pretty birthday girl.
The Food
And of course The gang...
... missing K-Ling. Come back soon bitch!!
This was a good weekend cos I managed to meet so many of my friends who are so close to my heart and oso tubs was nothing but wonderful.
There are many things I wanna say to my love but I’ll just say I LOVE YOU DARLS. Any other words is for his ears only. Haha.
