OMG look at the time. *sigh* Guess it’s bedtime for me soon..
But before that, I wanna wish Ting Ting a very happy belated birthday! We celebrated her bday on Friday at Bedok 85 one day before her actual bday and even though it was just a very simple gathering, it was a very nice heartwarming one!
Saturday was Lawrance’s wedding and it didn’t take long before the guys got rowdy and drunk, together with the groom. The way they were mixing the drinks, I think I’d puke before I can even get drunk. There was everything from whisky to stout to wine to beer to coke to Chinese tea. But I’ve seen worse ones like chilli sauce and soy sauce so I guess this is more potent than disgusting.
Tried to buy some stuff in town on Sunday and I saw 2 pairs of shoes which I’m torn between. One is a pair of Pumas, and the other is a pair of Lacostes. I need to make a decision desperately! The worst part is I can’t seem to find a picture of both shoes online so I can’t get a third opinion. I think the Pumas look better on me but I love the Lacostes, and so do tubs.
Everyone is flying again, including me. I shall not say when I’m flying, but once again, if I’m close enuff to you, you’ll know when I’ll be gone. Mandy is flying off to North Korea and Rachel is flying off to Munich, Japan and Korea. But the one I’m looking forward to the most is K-Ling flying back!
I know I won’t be gone for that long a time, but hopefully I’ll get to meet up with some friends before I fly cos I do intend to look for a job when I come back and then it's gonna be busy busy busy. I have a bad feeling I’ll come back a bankrupt. Haha. So people, gimme a call if you wanna meet up k!
Anyway, just now while driving home, the weather was weird lah. It kinda freaked me out a little. Maybe it’s cos I was still a little woozy at 5+am, but the entire way, the weather looked fine, and then I entered KPE. Once I exited, the rain was so damn heavy I could barely see anything in front of me and even though I may have taken the underground route to another part of Singapore, the difference in weather is just too huge. And less than a few minutes under the crazy storm, it suddenly stopped. Not that I think it suddenly stopped, I think it was just pouring very heavily at a specific area, but when I drove out of that range, it was just weird lah. It looked like there never was rain anywhere nearby at all. The road was completely dry. It was just too sudden a change, like you could find a spot where you could stretch out both arms and one side would be completely dry while the other side would be drenched. Ah whatever. I dunno what I’m talking about either. All I know is that it’s damn bloody bright outside now and I have to try and get some sleep now and I know I'm going to have a problem doing so.
