I know, I know. The last post is not around anymore cos I was going to put my trip pictures in but they are taking longer than expected, mainly cos I’m sick and there are too many pictures. Having too many pictures is one thing. When there are pictures from 3 digi cams and 4 memory cards, and the com decides to mess all of them up, it is another thing. So I’ve been taking my own sweet time with them. So when I’m done, I shall let everyone noe yah.
Let’s see what I’ve been up to since I’ve been back.
Back early on Monday morning, slept abit after tubs dropped us home and left for work and when I woke, had chicken rice for dinner with the folks. Shiok! Decent food once again! Met tubs, and then it was off to meet Mel! I so damn miss her man. It was then when I heard about tubs sending me the many smses which I never received, which got him paranoid. Sorry baby! Anyway, tubs decided to take leave the next day so we had the whole Tuesday together!
Tuesday, tubs and I walked out for lunch of tofu, butter pork, pineapple rice and chicken wings. We were damn stuffed after that but when good food keeps coming, I’m not complaining. We had dinner that nite at Dunman. Tien ji Zhou. What else. Haha. That nite, met up with Mandy dear, James, Corin and Brown and plans to go Perling for supper were shelved cos we weren’t sure if it was still open so the decided to bring us for Kway Chup which I gotta say was damn good. As much as I may dislike going to Malaysia, their food is shiok lah.
Wednesday was a public holiday. Not that it mattered to me. Haha. Woke up not feeling well anyways. Dinner was at Hanabi. Shiok! Full house but we never minded counter seats cos the closer you are to the sushi chef, the more food you get without having to catch the attention of a waitress. Didn’t eat a lot cos I was feeling queasy but it was still damn satisfying. Went to Paris Park at nite to meet tub’s uncles and aunties. Too bad I was sick so I laid off the alcohol cos I was quite craving it. Damn. Because I wasn’t well, tubs was a sweetheart and sent me home before cabbing home himself. But because I was still on a roll meeting my friends, I ended up going out after that to meet Jane nearby, which was just as well cos my nose was so stuffed plus runny that I couldn’t sleep anyways.
Thursday, met Jes for a late dinner and it was great catching up with her but I had to cut it short cos Kailing was coming back! So off to the airport I went! After 4 long months, she’s finally back lah! Now we’re whole once again. Haha.

Friday, we had a surprise planned for K-Ling so during the evening, I decided not to be a spoilt brat and drive so I took a walk to Lagoon. I know it’s just opposite my place but asking me to walk is a feat man.
But other then potentially having a problem looking for a parking space, the only other reason why I walked is because I thought it was nearer than expected. Yeah. WTH. Anyway, after K-Ling finally digested what was going on, we ordered a ton of food which we didn’t get to finish. It didn’t help that some people, including yours truly, wasn’t very hungry to begin with. Met Jes that nite to talk cock abit before shooing her back home to get some sleep cos she was going to have a big event for work the next day. Because I barely ate during dinner, I had a crazy craving for zhu zha soup but the last time I went to my usual one was years ago so tubs and I drove around until I managed to figure out where it was. I thought the standard had dropped but it was still good nevertheless.
Saturday, we had dinner at the Italian restaurant outside my old place cos we’ve been saying how we should try it ever since it opened but we never did and now we finally got down to it. It’s called Etna Restaurant & Pizzeria. Every time we drove past it, it’s full house so I was very happy indeed when we not only got outdoor seats, we snagged the smoking seats as well. The food was not bad, service was good, and we had fab outdoor seats which were very comfy and the atmosphere was fantastic.
After that, it was off to Paris Park again to meet tub’s uncles and aunties for Aunty Juliet’s birthday. Needless to say, being out with them is oways a ton of fun. They are the youngest bunch of old folks i swear.

Sunday, tubs brought me to Pasir Ris Farm to look at puppies but non caught our eye. All the puppies weren’t cute and there were so little of them and they all look malnourished. Bummer. Dinner at granny’s house was amazing though. I nearly died and went to heaven. Grandma cooks the best bak kut noodles. Went down to meet K-Ling, Mandy and Ting at Punggol Park and we had a great time chatting. Thanks K-Ling for the pressies! I’m still very glad that you’re back!
Anyway, tubs and I watched Don’t Mess with the Zohan on DVD after we got home and I gotta say it was ok for me. I expected it to piss me off the way Love Guru and a bunch of other lame shows pissed me off but somehow, I thought Zohan was fine. Haha. -shrugs-
I was going to say that I am going to diligently sort thru my trip fotos now but Chixy has asked to meet and I haven’t met her since I’ve been back so I guess the fotos has just gotta wait. Haha.
Anyway, here’s an IQ test I got off Mandy’s blog. What is full marks? I have a feeling I got a bunch wrong though. I simply have no patience for such stuff. Here’s my score. Click if you wanna read!
