So much for having a holiday on Monday. It barely felt like a long weekend la.
Friday
Had dinner at the café downstairs with the mother and I told her some things that has been suppressed in me for a long time. Just a fraction of it, which I’m glad I let out, but I still didn’t get the relief I though I’d feel. Maybe because talking to her about such things is just pure pointless cos she thinks she’s oways right, or maybe just cos that mere fraction was such a small part that it barely had any impact at all. Yes, I do have a lot to say to her, but if it all were to come out at one sitting, it’ll take a bloody long time, a hell lot of patience and I’m quite sure it’ll turn pretty ugly.
When tubs came to look for me after that, we went to buy Ben & Jerry’s, drinks, ciggies and found a nice spot at Cosy Bay.
Saturday
Slacked with my girls Kailing and Mandy at AMK Macs in the day and when James left and tubs got home, we went to pick him up and off to Loof we went to celebrate Kailing’s belated birthday. It’s a nice place but in our weather, it doesn’t take long for everyone to start feeling the heat. But either ways it was still a nice gathering with the gang who never fails to brighten up any occasion.
Cos I was starving, it was porridge at Chinatown with Dan & Sharon after that. Shiok.
Sunday
Spent the afternoon slacking at Tampines with Jes until tubs came to pick us up and then we went to pick Rach & Ah Boy up and we decided to do a 2-hit combo. We went to Perling to eat a little before heading for Kway Chup. Haha. Madness. After that was car wash time and the queue at the car wash was crazy. I’ve never seen that many cars there before but we just waited either ways since there were chairs and we could smoke at the petrol kiosk either ways. When we were going back, the queue at the Woodlands checkpoint was terrible. It snaked for a long long way so we decided to pay more and exit thru Tuas instead which was so much better.
Monday
Didn’t do much apart from going to look at some houses, and eating really good xiao wan mian. Haha. Oh and there’s something I wanna do but it’s too skeletal for now so when I get to meet with the right people for a brainstorming session, then can I be more sure of what is gonna happen. One step at a time!
Anyways tubs will be away this weekend since Friday so people, date me k. Haha. This time I’ll be your Sally if you’ll be my Jack.
