I love the weather! Rainy and oh so cooling. It’s just that I’m not that big a fan of driving when it’s pouring like crazy.
Went KTVing with tubs and Victor on Friday nite and after that, it was JB for yummy dinner after picking Ben up. The Dunhill ciggies tubs and I bought came in really pretty boxes!
There’s something wrong with the Singapore immigration I swear. When we were heading back, I was pleasantly surprised that there wasn’t even a queue at the Malaysian checkpoint but once we crossed that, the queue at Singapore side was terrible. It din take me long to fall asleep and it was more than an hour later that I woke up to a commotion. Some ICA guy was shouting like a mad man and he proceeded to hit our car with is hands. Apparently what I think happened was that he wanted to close that particular lane which he was tending but he did not put the cone properly to block the lane so naturally people would drive into that lane. So 3 cars went into that lane and the mad man came out and shouted at all 3 cars but we were the sway one who he decided to make physical contact with. Knn. And the dumb ass asked us to reverse to go into another lane when it was impossible because of the bumper to bumper queue of cars. So in the end still behaving like some crazed IMH patient, he came out to arrange the cone again. I hate people who take out their anger on others when it’s their own stupidity to blame. Corporal Satvinder at Booth 24 at 0246hours at the Woodlands checkpoint. And the many more hours before that before he lost a screw.
This is not the first time we had to watch people from the ICA give us fucked up attitude. I think the government better do something about it. This is something which requires minimal interaction and it’s as simple as anything can get and to be used as punching bags is simply unacceptable. Even the Malaysian side is better cos even though they are not friendly, they don’t give shit attitude just because they are in a bad mood for whatever reasons. Judging from their faces, their wives probably refused to fuck them, thus making them so damn foul tempered. That having said, there have been some really nice and friendly people but the bad ones should just go screw themselves. Why these people think of themselves as high and mighty, I have no idea.
Saturday was shopping time after dinner at Dunman. Tien Ji Zhou in this cold cold weather is shiok! Barely enuff time for me to shop by the time we got to Vivo but I did manage to buy a load of clothes from Forever21, only to realise after paying that I completely forgot to use my vouchers. So clever. But there is some POSB/DBS offer going on so I got to save some money. Haha. Anyway, when all the shops had closed, we went down to meet Jes and her friend Axel for a round of pool and then supper at Simpang and then it was home to sleep.
Sunday was spent slacking the afternoon away at Tampines in the cool of the rain followed by dinner at granny’s and then Mel, tubs and I decided to whack down some Ballsy. Haha. That’s the BK quad burger but Mel and I were a little more human. We decided to share it. Haha.
Anyway, my com is giving me a lot of problems and I’m so tempted to throw it out of my window *sigh*
Secret Santa list is out. Time to go shopping again! And I can’t wait to meet my Mandy dear later.
Bye all~

Sometimes you can’t blame me for having my doubts about you. Cos some of the things that comes out of your mouth is simply outstanding. The disparity is too huge to ignore. I recommend getting over yourself first so that there’s room for you to spare a thought for others.
Where’s tubs?! I’m starving. Yup. That silly boy has taken half day leave and I can’t wait to have some beef noodles at Toa Payoh which is the yummiest ever.

It’s been a long long Wednesday. Sent tubs to the mrt at 7am and proceeded to meet Jane at 10am to do our hair. After all the colour selection, I sat in my seat for a long long time and finally after many hours, when my hair is blown to perfection, I look into the mirror and see green streaks. I couldn’t believe my eyes. And all my hairdresser said was that it would change colour after afew washes. Right. My hair is no chameleon but I’m hoping it’ll look a little more decent in a couple of days so I’m gonna wait and see what happens next. I think I’m still stunned by the outcome and thus I’m not in the right right frame of mind. Green is the last colour I would ever put in my hair.
Anyway, went home with Jane to take the car and then we went to pick da chix up and we went cartel for some food. Breakfast plus dinner to be exact. Chixy wanted to go town after that so I decided to pop by home to change out of my sleeping cotton on shorts and t-shirt first. What happened next was fantabulous. The mother had told me in advance that the asshole was coming over to have dinner together and she had requested that I try to join them, which was why I made a conscious effort not to be home. Hur hur. But I had to pop by home anyways so leaving my bitches in my car, I went up to do a quick change of clothes and once I stepped in, the parents were talking to the asshole and the mother asked me if I wanted to join them for dinner so I said no. by the time I was changed, they had left for dinner oready and when I went down to the carpark, my bitches said ’your parent’s left without the boy’, and then I found out that what had actually happened was that when my parents, the asshole and the boy had gone to the carpark to go out for dinner, the boy went over to tell my bitches that the drain cover where I parked wasn’t in place and the next thing, the parents drove off without the boy.
What the fuck is wrong with those 3 people?
How hard is it not to notice that there is 1 person less in the car? And the asshole really lives up to his name because how hard is it to not notice that his very own brother is not sitting beside him in the car? Fanfuckingtastic right. Unbelievable shit. When I drove up, the boy was in the lobby waiting for the parents to come back to pick him up. I offered him to screw dinner and come with us instead to town but the parents were oready on their way back. Up til now I cannot believe it. As much as my bitches do not say anything bad about my folks, but this really takes the cake and I don’t blame them one bit for asking ’why your parents like that ah?’ cos I really wanna know why they are like that too. They make me sick to my stomach.
Anyway, we headed to town and I fell in love with a Gucci bag but I decided that a python bag ain’t gonna be too practical cos I don’t take the best care of my bags but it’s really pretty. *sigh* Following that, we spent forever at La Senza, and ended up not buying anything. By the time we were done there, all the shops had closed oready so we decided to move it move it and Madagascar 2 it was! Caught the 11pm show and I dunno if it was the show or it was just watching with my bitches but I had to say I enjoyed it.
Spot us spying on Prada.

It was my birthday celebration over the weekend and I decided to just do a one off celebration and gather all my close pals together cos all my friends are such darlings that everyone can get along with my different groups of friends. For all those I did not invite, we can do meals together another time cos the room I booked wasn’t exactly a mansion yah.
Here are some pictures of the suite.
Celebrated a day before I hit 25. I know, old oready but I’m not shy to announce my age cos all that matters is that I still feel young inside. Haha. I hope everyone liked the place, and that the food was enough and just that everyone had fun. I’m just glad that everyone (well, omost) turned up and I loved all the presents! Hur hur.
And here's my birthday 'cake'. Decided to go cupcakes instead cos everyone was coming at staggered timing so it makes it easier for people to grab and go.
Firstly, I wanna thank my lovelies and their bfs, you guys are oways a ton of fun and never fail to make any celebration memorable. Thanks for the gifts. Yup. I had not 1, not 2, but 3 presents from the gang.
Thank goodness the girls made use of the Jacuzzi and the sauna if not it would really have gone to waste.
Oso, thanks Dan & Sharon for turning up. We may not meet every week like we used to anymore cos unlike Dan, I’m no cash cow (pun intended), but I’m glad you guys came and hung around with everyone, just like old times.
Next on the walk of honour is Mel & Yijun. Mel despite having work that day and another birthday to attend, came nevertheless with a huge bowl of her famous potato salad which everybody loved and proceeded to finish in record timing. My favourite cousin oso gave me a very thoughtful present which I’m sure will come in very handy at nite when insomnia hits and my personal big band is in full swing beside me. Haha.
Jane, Chixy, Tiger & Kel are next on my list. My bitches have been with me for the longest time and and it was us that agreed to only put 1 candle for our birthdays from this year onwards. Haha. Now you girls can finally say ‘welcome to the gang’ cos I’m the last amongst the 3 of us to hit 25! Thanks for the vouchers! Looks like I have another reason to shop once again.
Jes is next in line. Even though she came tipsy after the wedding dinner she attended and was crazier than ever, but I never get sick of seeing this woman despite meeting her omost everyday. Sorry no martell for you but I hope the vodka sufficed. Thanks to Jes & Rachel for another reason to shop!
Last but not least, I wanna thank tubs for being a BIG help. From sending me everywhere, to going alone to pick up all the food, to going home to heat the food up, to running around the whole nite to bring people to the suite and give directions, to playing host, I am truly grateful. I love you darling and the song was really sweet. I may whine sometimes and complain at other times, but I’m just thankful to have you around.
On Sunday, tubs and I woke up bright and early for breakfast and then we headed home in the afternoon. And since it was my birthday, without any thing said, he brought me to Pasir Ris Farm to look at puppies and then again at Parkway and it was at Parkway that we saw a really cute Shih Tzu. *sigh* Anyway after dinner at granny’s Mel’s mum gave us some money to buy ice cream for my birthday. Initial plan was to buy 2 tubs of ice cream so we grabbed Ben & Jerry’s Strawberry Shortcake and Haagen-Dazs’ Melon and then we realized that Movenpick was having an offer so we bought another 2 tubs from Movenpick, which was just as well cos once we brought it back to Granny’s everything was finished in a jiffy.
Once again, I would like to thank everyone for their wishes, presents, ang pows, etc etc. basically, thanks for everything and it was a simple but very enjoyable 25th for me. I know I’m not the easiest bitch to get along with but I’m glad I have a whole bunch of close friends and a wonderful boyfriend who makes me feel special. Love you guys!!

I’ve finally got everything for my birthday back on track. Actually it’s no mean feat. All I needed to do was to write everything down. I am really a pen & paper girl. I only feel organized when I have things handwritten down. So now that that’s done, I’m listening to old love songs. Like Gary Barlow. Haha. The songs I have in my com is unbelievable. But it doesn’t sound as cheesy as it used to when you don’t listen to it that often.. In fact, it’s quite nice to listen to at 4+am when you’ve got nothing to do and absolutely can‘t sleep.
Anyway, have you darlings bought me a present yet? Haha. I just though of something else I don’t mind having. The Nokia E71. I just saw it over the weekend and it looks like a bloody blackberry which reminds me of work but I still think it looks nice and it has all the functions I need and my current hp is failing me, slowly but surely. But I’m kidding lah. Haha. I just realized that I haven’t bought myself a hp ever before. Mostly they were presents from the dad for birthday/ X’mas, but I’m quite sure I won’t get one this year cos my dad bought me a hp not that long ago. Bummer.
Here’s Gary Barlow’s Forever Love

Nothing much I can remember about what I have been up to for the past week or so. But I shall try.
Friday met Kailing and Mandy for XDL. I thought we had over-ordered at first especially when Bijorn wasn’t eating but then when James came, he finished everything and more lah. Power. After that was Punggol Park for drinks and just when my darlings were leaving, tubs came down to look for me with Marcus and Chan. We stayed there til it closed and a group of 4 boys sitting quite some distance from us were making a fool of themselves, puking one after another, and they didn’t even bother walking somewhere else to puke. All they did was bend forward and puke between their legs. Gross. Tubs and I went to meet Jes at Old HK after that and by the time we finally got home, everyone was tired out and the sun was coming out oready. Haha.
Tubs and I had some yummy oysters and fish & chips at Greenwood Fish Market on Saturday. The last time we went there on the spur of the moment, it was impossible to find parking and the place was packed. This weekend we finally found no problem parking and having a table.
Sunday, we went cupcake hunting and in the end, I didn’t find anything that impressed me but tubs ended up falling in love with a yummy chocolate cupcake which he wolfed down in the shop. He dropped me off near Mel’s place and then Mel & I took a cab to Parkway, hoping to do some shopping but the stupid taxi driver took us for a long ride, just because he decided to be a smarty pants and take the KPE instead of sticking to the PIE, when he isn’t even familiar with the KPE. When he finally realized he was lost, he started going on and on about how stupid the KPE is, how stupid the government is, tsking all the way, grumbling non-stop…. It really was quite annoying when he’s the dumb one. It doesn’t take a genius to figure out that you’re supposed to take KPE(ECP) and not KPE(TPE) when going to Parkway. Anyway we obviously didn’t pay what was on the meter but I’m just pissed that it was such a bloody waste of time. KPE - 70km/hr is not funny at all.
Anyway after dinner at granny’s, Mel and tubs followed me to Cat’s place to visit baby Melody as it was her 1st birthday. Even though the party was over, there was still plenty of food and the sumo baby was still awake! She’s such a sweetheart lah. It’s impossible not to love that baby. Managed to play her before she went to bed.
My birthday plans are driving me quite crazy. I need more time. Haha.

Maybe it’s a figment of my imagination, maybe it’s paranoia, but the Sentosa incident, even though without confirmation of the sightings, has made me very uncomfortable, even up til today. Boo Hoo. I hate it! Ever since that day, I’ve been freaking out, especially when I’m washing my face or showering. Thanks girls. Haha. The only one who didn’t see anything is the one feeling the effects long after it’s over. Anyway, I got home just now in not a very nice way. My elevator serves only 2 units, which is my unit and my neighbour’s. For the first time ever since I shifted here, the lift door kept on opening and shutting non-stop after I have oready gotten out and that was enuff to freak me out and I practically ran into my house and switched on all the lights and in the process, I think I made quite a din. Haha. This is not fun at all. Fuck.
On a completely different note, 4 November was Vince’s birthday and oso Chixy’s birthday. Happy Birthday to both of you! Vince - We’ve been thru a lot together, with really a whirlwind of emotions involved, and I owe it all to you getting me hooked to Mambo Jambo, but I’m glad we’re still friends and I hope your leg is much better oready. Wishing you a speedy recovery and best wishes for your birthday!
Chixy - We’ve been friends since what seems like forever, you’ve managed to see me through the different phases of my life, you’ve dug out any remaining skeletons in my closet, you’ve seen me in my most unglam, and basically, it just goes to show how close we are. I hope you had a good celebration and I hope you like the gift we got you. For you only, I had it wrapped Tiffany style. Haha. May we celebrate many more birthdays together and may our madness continue. Love you deep deep! Haha.
Celebrated Chixy’s birthday at Kel’s house. Other than an overload of BBQ food, I think I ODed on green tea and ciggies as well. It’s oways good to spend time with my bitches, which was why we only ended up leaving during the wee hours of the morning, after slacking at the living room, to pigging out at the porch, to relaxing at the roof top, to watching Grease and Tattoo Wars in the room. I don’t have much fotos of the party with me cos most of the fotos are with Chixy but here’s her pet hermit crab which she smuggled back from the Maldives, which currently resides in Kel’s toilet. What a wonderful life this hermit crab has eh. Hur hur.
Anyway, I think I shall let everyone in on my birthday plans now. Yeah, like finally. Sorry! I don’t like to tell people stuff that haven’t been confirmed lah. First of all, nobody needs to prepare to leave the country after all. Haha.
I have shelved chartering a yacht cos I have a bad feeling the weather is not gonna hold up and I refuse to get sea-sick and puke during my birthday.
I am oso not gonna rent a villa at Bintan Banyan Tree cos I think it’s too much trouble for everyone, having to take a ferry to and fro plus traveling to the resort etc.
Therefore I have rented a suite at Raffles Town Club. I think it’s time to put the membership into some use other than just going there to eat once in a blue moon. I have booked a suite from 15 - 16 November (Saturday - Sunday), it is the Jasmine Spa Suite (no I’m not trying to be funny, it is called exactly that). It has a Jacuzzi whirlpool, steam room and sauna room in the suite so bring all your bikinis or speedos if you all wanna have a dip. I will come up with what food to feed you people in time to come so don’t worry. Haha.
I am very anal about hotel rooms etc so the earliest date RTC had allowed me to go view the suite is barely afew days before the 15th so I hate to say this but in case it is not up to expectation, I may change plans again BUT I hate last minute plans SO people, please cross your fingers that it’s big/nice enuff k.
Ok, that’s about all for now in regards to my birthday plans. Finer details to be up later on but at least now you guys know the location and dates yah. Anything just feel free to ask me.
Anyhoos, the other day tubs and I went driving around and we decided to check out D’Kranji Farm Resort. The drive in was terribly long and before we even reached the place, we had to pass by cemeteries and more cemeteries. The whole place was a ghost town (no pun intended) and the mosquitoes there were in abundance. They were swarming everywhere and that was such a bloody turn off. I think other than afew people working there, the was only a film crew with Huang Wen Yong or whatever his name is. What attracted tubs though, was that during it’s grand opening on 15th November, Jacky Wu will be there. Boring.. I suggest that anyone going there, please wear long sleeved tops, jeans and shoes, and oso bring any form of insect repellent cos the mosquitoes are gonna have one heck of time feeding on the people there. Maybe the government should start their dengue checks or whatever checks they do over there real quick cos the problem is BAD. Thinking of that place makes me itch man.
Ok, the sun is officially up. Now I can go wash up in peace. Haha. Staying in the east does has it’s own set of benefits, like the sun rising earlier than other parts of Singapore.

Thanks to those who kept me occupied this weekend while tubs was away!
Friday, thy neighbour decided to bring me a piece of cake from secret recipe. It’s been a long time since I last ate Secret Recipe cakes lah! Shiok. Met Jes much later in the nite for coffee at Old HK, right til the wee hours of the morning. When we went home, we went online and she instigated me to download songs of yester-year. Songs we used to club to, songs that are no longer in existence now. Haha. I was so caught up looking for songs to download that I finally forced myself to shut down my com at around 8am, but not before texting Mandy to wake me up in a couple of hours. Haha.
Saturday was Kailing & Mandy Day. Thanks dears for accompanying me even though both of you could have easily chosen to be with your BFs/ other friends. (There was a little conflict but it’s all good now yah. I hope you understand why I didn’t think I was in the wrong. If you still don’t see it, I can explain it. Just let me know k.)
Anyway Kailing wanted somewhere romantic so I came up with 2 places. Alfresco style of cos for us smokers.
Here's one...
And here's another....
Romantic right? Haha. But we ended up going to neither and instead, we headed to Sentosa. At the Sentosa checkpoint (haha), I have no idea how the guy only saw 2 people in the car when there were 3 of us, therefore we ended up paying only for 2 people.
Once we parked the car, that was when the gastronomy began. We ordered a hell lot of food and thank goodness we had a big table to ourselves.
Talk about before and after eh. Being a Saturday, it wasn’t surprising how packed the place was so we took a nice walk until we were past the Merlion and overlooking what used to be an unobliterated view but now is just a great big construction site for the IR. We sat there and talked, any fooled around, and took photos, and smoked, and talked some more. Before we knew it, it was 1+am and we hadn’t realized the lights around us shutting down slowly but surely so when the final lights shut down completely, we decided to head back to the carpark. I swear I haven’t had such a scary walk in a long long time. To start with, I was never comfortable walking past the Merlion. Somehow the structure and the wooden bridge and water just gives me the creeps but this time, with not a single soul anywhere in sight and no lights for us to see exactly where we were going, it was no fun. It was a damn long walk lah. Once we hit lights, I felt so relieved and once we were at 7-11 with people around, that was the best feeling man.
Then Mandy and Kailing decided to say they think they saw things. Which I suspected there were but I didn’t think anyone would actually see it, but that freaked me out all over again. And I do not like to drive while I am scared cos I don’t wanna put anybody’s lives in danger and I don’t want an accident to happen which is beyond my control. (I’ve heard more than afew incidents of accidents where by after that, nobody can understand or explain how the accident even happened). So with my hair standing on ends, I took a slow drive to Al-Ameen near Kailing’s house and because the place was so damn packed and so damn bright, I felt so much better lah. But even then, I wasn’t looking forward to driving home on my own after so thank goodness my guardian angel Jes msged me at that moment, asking if I wanted to have supper so she cabbed down to meet us after her drinking session and all of us piled in to my car and sent Kailing home, then dropped Mandy with James, but not before we told Erotic Late Nite Stories in Mandarin, ending up making all of us laugh like mad. Then Jes and I went for supper at our usual Old HK, right until nearly 6am.
What happened at Sentosa was horrible but that aside, thank you my darling girls! Love you babes lots!!! Tubs is back today. Time to be a good girl once again.
