Maybe it’s a figment of my imagination, maybe it’s paranoia, but the Sentosa incident, even though without confirmation of the sightings, has made me very uncomfortable, even up til today. Boo Hoo. I hate it! Ever since that day, I’ve been freaking out, especially when I’m washing my face or showering. Thanks girls. Haha. The only one who didn’t see anything is the one feeling the effects long after it’s over. Anyway, I got home just now in not a very nice way. My elevator serves only 2 units, which is my unit and my neighbour’s. For the first time ever since I shifted here, the lift door kept on opening and shutting non-stop after I have oready gotten out and that was enuff to freak me out and I practically ran into my house and switched on all the lights and in the process, I think I made quite a din. Haha. This is not fun at all. Fuck.
On a completely different note, 4 November was Vince’s birthday and oso Chixy’s birthday.
Happy Birthday to both of you!
Vince - We’ve been thru a lot together, with really a whirlwind of emotions involved, and I owe it all to you getting me hooked to Mambo Jambo, but I’m glad we’re still friends and I hope your leg is much better oready. Wishing you a speedy recovery and best wishes for your birthday!
Chixy - We’ve been friends since what seems like forever, you’ve managed to see me through the different phases of my life, you’ve dug out any remaining skeletons in my closet, you’ve seen me in my most unglam, and basically, it just goes to show how close we are. I hope you had a good celebration and I hope you like the gift we got you. For you only, I had it wrapped Tiffany style. Haha. May we celebrate many more birthdays together and may our madness continue. Love you deep deep! Haha.
Celebrated Chixy’s birthday at Kel’s house. Other than an overload of BBQ food, I think I ODed on green tea and ciggies as well. It’s oways good to spend time with my bitches, which was why we only ended up leaving during the wee hours of the morning, after slacking at the living room, to pigging out at the porch, to relaxing at the roof top, to watching Grease and Tattoo Wars in the room. I don’t have much fotos of the party with me cos most of the fotos are with Chixy but here’s her pet hermit crab which she smuggled back from the Maldives, which currently resides in Kel’s toilet. What a wonderful life this hermit crab has eh. Hur hur.

Anyway, I think I shall let everyone in on my birthday plans now. Yeah, like finally. Sorry! I don’t like to tell people stuff that haven’t been confirmed lah. First of all, nobody needs to prepare to leave the country after all. Haha.
I have shelved chartering a yacht cos I have a bad feeling the weather is not gonna hold up and I refuse to get sea-sick and puke during my birthday.
I am oso not gonna rent a villa at Bintan Banyan Tree cos I think it’s too much trouble for everyone, having to take a ferry to and fro plus traveling to the resort etc.
Therefore I have rented a suite at Raffles Town Club. I think it’s time to put the membership into some use other than just going there to eat once in a blue moon. I have booked a suite from 15 - 16 November (Saturday - Sunday), it is the Jasmine Spa Suite (no I’m not trying to be funny, it is called exactly that). It has a Jacuzzi whirlpool, steam room and sauna room in the suite so bring all your bikinis or speedos if you all wanna have a dip. I will come up with what food to feed you people in time to come so don’t worry. Haha.
I am very anal about hotel rooms etc so the earliest date RTC had allowed me to go view the suite is barely afew days before the 15th so I hate to say this but in case it is not up to expectation, I may change plans again BUT I hate last minute plans SO people, please cross your fingers that it’s big/nice enuff k.
Ok, that’s about all for now in regards to my birthday plans. Finer details to be up later on but at least now you guys know the location and dates yah. Anything just feel free to ask me.
Anyhoos, the other day tubs and I went driving around and we decided to check out D’Kranji Farm Resort. The drive in was terribly long and before we even reached the place, we had to pass by cemeteries and more cemeteries. The whole place was a ghost town (no pun intended) and the mosquitoes there were in abundance. They were swarming everywhere and that was such a bloody turn off. I think other than afew people working there, the was only a film crew with Huang Wen Yong or whatever his name is. What attracted tubs though, was that during it’s grand opening on 15th November, Jacky Wu will be there. Boring.. I suggest that anyone going there, please wear long sleeved tops, jeans and shoes, and oso bring any form of insect repellent cos the mosquitoes are gonna have one heck of time feeding on the people there. Maybe the government should start their dengue checks or whatever checks they do over there real quick cos the problem is BAD. Thinking of that place makes me itch man.
Ok, the sun is officially up. Now I can go wash up in peace. Haha. Staying in the east does has it’s own set of benefits, like the sun rising earlier than other parts of Singapore.
