Oh yay! My lappy is fixed but now the boy’s com and my mum’s com have died. I wonder what the hell is going on man.. But I’m glad mine is fine now cos I’ve got a million and one things to do on my com.
Anyhoos, here’s a recap of my long weekend!
My weekend started early. To be exact, it started on a Thursday. Haha. Me and my bitches took a bus in the pouring rain to Orchard for some shopping. Our first stop was at Wisma for lunch. Coincidentally, it was Longine’s opening at the Wisma’s atrium and there were so many young girls there and we were wondering who the hell was coming. While eating at the food court, we went to kaypoh and saw that Denise Keller was there as MC and soon after, we heard a commotion. Apparently someone had fallen though a hole but we had no idea who it was cos the ang moh guy sitting at the same table with us went to look and came back and told us what happened. And then not long after, everyone started screaming cos… Aaron Kwok was on stage. Haha.
Anyway, after lunch, we managed to cover quite a number of places before ending up at Far East Plaza. I insisted on walking FEP LAST cos usually when Jane hits FEP, she can never stop until all the shops have closed, and to be honest, I’m not that big a fan of FEP. But after walking so many shops, it was grossly disappointing. We barely bought anything, from anywhere, the entire day.
Went back to my place after we were done at Orchard to take the car and in the carpark, my bitches decided to go around taking pictures with other people’s cars. Haha. Thank goodness the security didn’t come chase us away. Here’s some of the beautiful cars without my bitches.
After that, we went to Bugis and whacked some XDL.
Hahaha! Shiok weather for steamboat, especially when we got the smoking table and at 11+pm, the entire place is nice and quiet. When we were finally stuffed, we headed down to ECP to watch the guys pull up their crab net and we bought Macs ice cream on the way there. Haha. So much for feeling full. After Chixy left with the guys, Jane and I slacked near her place talking about life and guys til morning.
Friday. I’ve been constantly craving for Nasi Lemak recently and so for dinner on Friday, tubs and I went down to Kovan to appease my craving. Punggol Nasi Lemak is so yummy. After that, we went to Kallang and watched Sex Drive. It was an American Pie wannabe type film so I didn’t find it that fantastic but it’s watchable I guess. I enjoyed American Pie so I don’t think other films should try to match up to something they can’t. But if it helps, in hindsight, in comparison to the next movie I watched 2 days later, I’ll actually call Sex Drive ‘good’. Urgh but yah..
Saturday. Tubs felt like having something nice for dinner and we were both craving for fresh oysters like mad so we headed down to Shang for buffet. The Line never disappoints me. The price may not be justifiable but the variety of food suits me wonderfully cos I’m that type of buffet eater that just wants to take a bite out of everything. I don’t usually find buffets which I’m really happy with but this does it for me.
Went to meet Mel after dinner and played with the cutie dog for abit and talked about our grand plans. After we left, we went to pick Jes up and headed to simpang for some drinks before calling it a night. As usual, Jes was laughing at every single thing and the latest amusement to hit her is the Visa ad that’s showing in the theaters at the moment. The one with the dancing man. It’s crazy how she finds everything funny.
Sunday. Went down to the F1 Pit Building for Hong Seh’s 40th Anniversary Celebrations Exhibition.

Went to Vivo after that, in hope of getting my Aldo shoes but somehow I ended up not getting it. *sigh* Being empty-handed wasn’t fun so I decided to get a bag from Zara but they only had 1 last display piece left so we went to Lait Zara to get it instead and horrors of horrors, even Liat only had one last display piece left but it looked fine so I just grabbed it before it’s totally gone.
Granny’s for dinner following that and that nite, tubs, me and Mel decided to take a drive into JB to buy ciggies and ILT. I know.. We’re abit mad. They ran out of ILT in bottles so we ended up buying 12 cans back. Haha. All the jam to and fro just for a pack of cigs and some ILT. Haha. After we dropped Mel home, we decided it was still early since it’s a public holiday the next day so we ended up watching Zack & Miri Make A Porno at PS. Do NOT watch that show. I was so thoroughly bored. It was low budget, it was bad, it was cheesy, it was boring, basically, it was everything negative. What a bloody waste of money. I hardly fall asleep during movies but this I did. And I was so restless I wanted to run to the back row which was empty and just stretch out there. Gawd.
Monday. Picked Kailing up from ECP cos she was bored watching her BF fix toy cars and we went to Roxy for ban mian before heading back to ECP to slack. I think tubs was having a great time watching people play with their remote control cars cos he got stuck there for a long time while we girls slacked at the HK café. I think next time the BFs can play with their cars while we girls slack and get our nicotine fix since it’s so near my house.
When nite time came, greediness struck. Tubs suggested Dunman but the intention was not to eat Tien Ji Zhou for once. It was oyster omelette. But because the smoking seats were just next to the TJZ stall, we felt bad. And we ended up with not only oyster omelette, TJZ, but oso wan ton mee. Haha. I think tubs finished ¾ of the food so he felt guilty and wanted to go ECP for a walk, which ended with him rolling around in bed for abit, to finally being tired and sleeping. What’s new.
Anyway, it was a great weekend. Even though I’m not working, long weekends rock. And speaking of things which rock, Gucci has outdone itself once again.
