FridayMet Jes after her work on Friday and we went for dinner and slacking session. She told me something that made my blood boil man. I seldom get overly agitated but another person’s problem but this really takes the cake. I feel so sorry for my dear Jes! Argh!! Anyway, I will do what I can to help her cos I still feel that she’s been forced to become a ‘victim’ in the end. I hate irresponsible guys man. But I shall not go into detail here until I have set my best laid plans into action. Haha.
Tubs was feeling like Kway Chup so with Jes joining us, we were off to JB. Kway Chup, ciggies and a car wash later, we headed back to Singapore and it was oready close to 4am. -faints-
SaturdayDidn’t sleep the night before cos once again, I didn’t wanna risk waking up late and wasting the entire weekend. I know it’s not a good idea cos it doesn’t make me feel my best and I’m just stoned the whole day.
First destination of the day was Seletar farmway. Haha. I don’t think I’m going crazy over the shrimp thingy. I’m just getting bored of the present batch so at Seletar, I ended up buying 10 more shrimps. Headed to tub’s place after that for awhile before going back to my place to release the new shrimps into my tank. My aquarium finally looked a little more decent. 20 shrimps sounds like an awful lot but they’re so tiny you hardly spot them around lor. Everyone looked happy so after feeding them, tubs and I headed to Vivo.
We were supposed to have dinner with his family plus his grand folks etc at the old school Chinese restaurant outside my house so we didn’t have much time left to shop. Desperate times call for desperate measures so I narrowed my shopping to 2 shops - River Island and Forever21. Noting much at River Island so when I went to Forever21, did a speedy round, and ended up with 2 dresses, a top and a skirt.
After I was done at Forever21 did I find out that dinner had been cancelled at the last min. So we continued shopping and then suddenly, tubs got a call from his parents asking us to join the both of them for dinner at Copthorne. Omg. Once again, gotta cut short shopping time. It was buffet but I didn’t enjoy it too much. Not really into Nonya/ Paranakan food.
Because I was tired from the lack of sleep, I concussed for about 2 hours or so at his place and after waking up, we went to ECP to slack and enjoy each other’s company. When we went back to my place, the sun was oready gonna set but we couldn’t sleep cos there were some casualties in my aquarium. 3 shrimps had been attacked and killed, and 1 of them were pregnant lah. Fucking pissed off cos altogether up til this point in time, there has been a total of 5 deaths, and all caused by 1 shrimp. The largest shrimp, which is also the biggest bully. It actually goes around attacking other shrimps and all of them are so scared of that particular one that I have to feed them with tactic so they wouldn’t get attacked. It didn’t help that all the larvae from the previous batch was nowhere to be found so I guess no shrimplets for me. Haha. Anyway, back to why tubs and I couldn’t sleep - cos we were trying to catch the mother fucker and put it in it’s own confined space so it wouldn’t kill anymore of my shrimps. Tubs wanted to kill it but I decided to confine it first and then see how tings go from there. After he was separated from the rest, my tank looks so much nicer cos the shrimps are free to roam about without being scared anymore. Hur hur. There’s 1 more pregnant shrimp now. I’m just hoping her babies would survive.
SundayI really really really wanted to go for the Club21 bazaar at Pit Building cos it was the last day and prices will be slashed like never before so I tried not sleeping. Haha. Main word being ‘tried’. I wanted to let tubs sleep til at least 11am but at 10+am, I fell asleep and didn’t wake up til afternoon. But because either ways we had planned to go shop for shoes for him, I decided to forgo Club21. Boo Hoo. Really upsetting. But I shall not dwell on it cos in the end, tubs got to buy his shoes, which I think are really nice, and I bought shoes and clothes as well. So all is not lost after all. We are like on an aquarium hunt or something cos we still had abit of time after that (and Club21 bazaar had oready closed) so we went to Qian Hu to look at fishes and I nearly bought more shrimps. Haha. Tubs didn’t let me though so we headed to granny’s empty handed. Mel had gone for the Club21 bazaar and she bought a whole lot of stuff but even though I think everything was nice, it wasn’t quite my style so I can only comfort myself that even if I went, I may not have found anything I fancied anyways. Haha. Yeah right. But as expected, she said the crowd was really bad so I wouldn’t want to put tubs thru all that either. Yeah right. Hahaha. Ah well, it’s over so no thinking about it anymore. The very most, I’ll just go shopping again. But it’s good to have some self control cos I have more clothes/ shoes/ bags than I’m wearing/ using.
Anyway, it’s yet another sleepless night as usual and I just went with tubs for Macs breakfast so it’s not a good idea to sleep soon either. Hope everyone has a great week ahead!
