The weekend is over once again. What’s new eh.

Anyway here are some pictures of the beautiful skies these past couple of days.

Wednesday
As much as I would love to have gone to Zouk, I didn’t and instead went with Rach for dinner and chit chat session at Punggol Park. I really can’t wait for her to pop a god-daughter out for me to spoil rotten. Haha. But seeing how fast time is passing, November would be here soon enough. I only told her - better not be on the same birthday as me cos I don’t like sharing birthdays. Hahaha.

Thursday
Met Janey for dinner at Xin Wang/ Thai Express at Siglap. And it was dunno how long after eating finish and paid up and the shop had closed that I realized I got ‘cheated’. Haha. I had asked the waiter what was the difference in ingredients between the Tom Yam Steamboat and the Tom Yam Seafood. I was told the steamboat had the same ingredients plus an addition of tang hoon and chicken meat. so I ordered the steamboat even though I’m not a big fan of tang hoon cos I felt like having both seafood and chicken. But it was only hours later that I realized I didn’t even get a morsel of chicken for my steamboat at all. WTF. I didn’t pay more than double of what the Tom Yam Seafood costs, just for some tang hoon lor. KNN.

Friday
Went to the airport in the evening to send tub’s sister and his parents off. His sis is going to Australia to study and the parents are going over to help her settle everything first before coming back. Shiok. I oso wanna go. But Australia’s H1N1 situation is pretty rampant so I hope they’ll all be fine. All of us had dinner at Dian Xiao Er before heading to the departure area to wait for time to pass and to let the girl say her goodbyes to her friends that came to see her off. I hate such situations man. I think I can never go overseas to study on my own lah. I’ll be so damn sad and homesick even though there will be friends to be made overseas but it’s just very different.

Met up with Alex at night to slack and talk cock at the block downstairs and we all shared a box of chicken munchees from Macs. I used to love it but now it seems kinda boring oready. Should have tried their Chick n Cheese or the Beef n Salsa burger instead.

Saturday
Woke up and we went all the way to Toa Payoh for our fave beef noodles but it was closed. Boo Hoo. Ended up eating whatever else was at the coffeeshop and I had wanton mee which I thought was good. At least it was good or else it would have been a damn wasted trip, especially when we woke up early just to go there and eat because once the beef noodles sells finish, they will close shop which is usually around early to mid afternoon.

Went to Seletar in the evening cos I wanted to buy new plants for my tank cos the shrimps like to sleep there. Haha. The plants in the tank look like Christmas tree. All the shrimps hanging on to the plant when they sleep. So I bought a plant and a moss ball which they love. And then we spotted other shrimps. They were selling it cheaper than other places and I could mix them. There were Crystal Red Shrimps and there were Crystal Black Shrimps, selling at a fixed rate per 20 shrimps. So I mixed 10 red ones with 10 black ones. Yay! At least there’s a color break if not there are way too many red shrimps around oready. I swear I really didn’t have the intention to buy more shrimps but I just couldn’t resist it. Haha.

At night, we met up with 2 of tub’s army friends and we slacked at the Malay coffeeshop at Kembangan. I used to go there so often when I was still staying at my previous place and even though I didn’t move that far away, I just haven’t been there in a long time. By the time we left, it was 3+am oready.

Sunday
Didn’t sleep the entire night, got showered, changed and ready before waking tubs up. Went to Liang Court for lunch and I love Meidi-Ya. Actually I basically love walking in supermarkets. But I especially love walking in Japanese supermarkets. Unfortunately, due to time constraints, I wasn’t able to scour for nice things to buy so I only ended up with Dunhill Senses(Frost), Kirin bottled tea, and 2 mini cans of beer. But not before we watched an entire big-ass live Alaska crab get dismembered. Alaska crabs are quite scary to watch. They are so big and it’s all down to skill to not get pinched as you cut it bit by bit. Yup. They don’t even tie the pincers shut. It’s just a huge struggling mess there and I wonder at which point does the crab actually die cos you can see it moving at almost every point of the process until the guy ripped the entire shell off. But by then, you wouldn’t even know for sure cos as much as it may still be alive, there’s no way for it to move anymore since the legs, followed by the pincers are one of the first things to get chopped off. Anyway, I didn’t buy my green tea ice cream and I’m very angry about it!

We went to Sim Lim after that so I could buy a hard disk. The prices are all the same at almost every shop now. Not that I even tried bargaining lah. Haha. I can’t be bothered to. The place is mad enough. It makes me feel like I’m in JB or something. Can’t stand the crazy crowd but because prices are pretty much standard now, you don’t get Ah Bengs niaming non stop and harassing you to go into their shops. Just went to a more empty shop, got my stuff, and we left.

Went back to tub’s place and while waiting for time to pass until it was time to go Granny’s place for dinner, I told him I’ll nap and to wake me up at a specific time. I even checked with him if he wanted to nap and he insisted he didn’t want to. I also told him to get all his stuff ready first so once it was time to leave, everything would have oready been packed and ready. But not only did he not listen to me, the next time he woke me up was close to 7.30pm oready. WTF man. Dinner is at 7pm lor. I gave up Meidi-Ya cos I know if we end up for dinner late, he’ll blame it on me. So ended up we had free time but he was still able to cock it up. Really powerful. And because he didn’t listen to me about getting his stuff ready, we ended up back at his place once again after dinner at Granny’s. What do I do with someone who is so bad with time management, and so difficult to trust? The only way I know is to plan the time myself but like I said before, it’s damn tiring to always be the only one planning everything.

Slacked with Mel for abit near her house. We haven’t done this is a damn long time man. I miss talking to her and I really miss our lunches. I used to complain about the world to her during lunch man. Anyway, her whole family is going to Australia this week lah. Damn shiok!! *sigh* I need a satisfying holiday. I wouldn’t mind Australia man. All the times I’ve been there, which ever part, I always enjoyed myself. And now it’s really cold there so all the more it’s shiok!

Went back to tub’s and one of his 2 remaining puffers decided to jump out of the tank and landed on the table. So clever. So as it started expanding on the table, tubs quickly scooped him up and dumped it back into the tank. How dumb.

When we finally came back to my place, there were at least 2 fatalities. It still feels sian when you see dead shrimps (cos you paid for them. haha) but I’ve become more or less used to it and can’t be bothered anymore. My tank, even though not huge, is still definitely not over populated with shrimps so each of them has somewhere to hide/ rest at but my shrimps are special. I think I got the worst shrimps ever. They fight every single day. Over what I have no idea. I feed them more than enough but they like to snatch food from others. Those that have eaten their fill but see remaining food, will just rest on the food pellet and not anyone else eat it. There are 4 different types of plants for them to choose as their sleeping area and yet they fight and kill each other everyday. WTF lor.
