I think I haven’t blogged in about a month or so. There have been quite abit to update, but either I just couldn’t be bothered or I didn’t have the time to. And now to recall what I’ve been up to for the past month is A LOT to ask. Haha. But I shall try to recall and don’t expect me to update in chronological order!

Johnny Depp as John Dillinger. Utterly smoldering, unexplainably intense and undoubtedly sexy. Nuff said.
"Up"
Cute blur young boy Russell on a journey with cute crabby old man Carl. Parts of the show was quite boring but just the beautiful animation (esp the house with balloons) and the 2 main characters was enough for me. And it was surprisingly emotional & moving at certain parts. *sob sob*
"Brüno"
Erm.. I dunno how to describe this film. Crude, slapstick, pornographic, funny, vile, offensive, and the list goes on. Well, what do you expect from Sacha Baron Cohen right? I watched it when I was in a good mood and being totally open. And I quite enjoyed it. Brainless, pointless show, but entertaining enough for me. Just jump into it and watch it or you could prepare yourself abit by reading it HERE on Wiki. Yup, even the Wiki page doesn’t quite prepare you for what you’ll end up seeing. Haha.

The mother is getting from bad to worse and this time, I can’t even be fucked to repeat myself over here cos it’ll just get me all riled up again. This time really takes the cake though. Shows very clearly what kind of a person she is. Unbelievable to some, but unfortunately true. Well I guess this also shows how good she is at acting eh. Only a true hypocrite and someone who stoops as low as she does can carry it off with such ease. -shrugs- I think age is making her mental. I better watch my own back at home. If one day I disappear suddenly, you know who’s the first suspect. Haha.

Some things are easy to overlook, accept and brush off at first. But after time, people start getting worse and it manifests and then it comes to stage where I just wanna take a step back every time and keep a distance from such people. I thought as we get older, we become more matured? Or is it just me being more anal about things as I get older? But when I’m not the only one having the exact same sentiments, and even others can see it so clearly, then I don’t see how much of the problem lies with me.
Two different friends, from two different groups, two different sets of ‘unacceptable behavior’. Anymore detail will be too much detail, especially when I know both reads my blog. I think both friendships are worth keeping and therefore I will try harder on my part, but I do get tired too, and some things do get too much, and so since people don’t see the problem with themselves, then I guess everyone will just have to let me do things at my own time, when I’m ready, when I feel more sane.

There was a little drama that happened one night. I’m not gonna go into detail, I haven’t spoken about it at all, but it has been constantly on my mind, and not in a good way. But I’m so tired about everything that I’m just gonna take baby steps, one step at a time, and try to get my life back in order.
BIRTHDAYS GALORE!
Mandy
Ran around the whole afternoon trying to find her a gift and at the last minute, I managed to grab a very nice vintage looking leather-bound travel diary from Wood Would. I guess that’s very suitable for her since she flies around so much. Rushed to Yhingthai for her birthday dinner with tub’s family but the entire time my heart was next door at Garibaldi’s. Haha. Somehow my thoughts were intercepted by some divine intervention and tub’s mum popped over and brought back a cake from Gari’s. Shiok.

Mandy dear’s 24th birthday at Topone KTV. First time there and it was quite an experience I must say. They have disco lights and a smoke machine for you to play around with. Lol. What’s more, there is free flow drinks but I ended up drinking ice water the whole night. That’s the one drink that can’t go wrong. Hur hur. Happy Birthday Babe! Hope you had fun, especially with Yuan being your private dancer for nobody nobody but you. Haha.

DarLing’s 25th birthday at Marriott. Happy Birthday Woman! You’re officially same age as me now. But not for long though. I better enjoy the moment while it lasts. Haha. Aging is supposed to show from the inside and not on the outside and you’ve aged very gracefully. Must be all the late night/ early morning nonsense laughing. It’s been awhile since I’ve gone mad with you laughing over nothing. Let’s do it again soon. Should do me some good.

Baby David Elias’ 1 year old birthday celebration which spanned over the entire weekend. It was more like a long party for the older folks lah. When tubs and I dropped by the first day at 2am, all the kids were asleep but the older folks were still drinking and smoking and we stayed there chatting with them for quite afew hours. Haha. Where they get their energy from I have no idea. When we went the next day for the actual celebration, everyone was still as hyper as ever, like they managed to get a really long sleep which was quite impossible cos tubs & I were stilled a little stoned.

Tub’s Grandpa
My Humble House at Esplanade for buffet lunch to celebrate tub‘s grandpa‘s birthday. Food was pretty good but I thought the variety was quite limited and desserts were very disappointing. But there was a 1-for-1 promo so it ended up very worth it. I didn’t eat much though.. Must have been because of the lack of sleep the night before. Tub’s grandpa was very cute, playing with the tassels hanging behind each chair, pretending to use it as a seat belt, then pretending to use it to hang himself. In the end, a waitress came over to remove it from him and told him not to play with it. Hahahaha.

High Tea buffet at The Rose Veranda at Shangri-La to celebrate Grandpa’s birthday. It was a nice place to chillax at cos the ambience is pretty nice but make sure you love tea and don’t expect much food wise. But then again, it is only high tea so I guess food selection is good enough. For tea, they have 102 types of tea for you to choose from and if you think you can try many types of different tea throughout the afternoon, think again cos each tea comes in a not-exactly-very-small-pot. Haha. Personally I didn’t find the price justifiable but thank goodness it was grandpa’s 80+ birthday which meant we got 80+% off the bill. Haha. That makes it very cheap in the end.
Tub’s parents
Buying gifts for certain people can sometimes really wreck your brains. But getting theirs was a piece of cake. Literally. Actually it wasn't a piece. It was a whole cake each. And getting the cake is the easiest and most important part of a birthday. Haha. Okok.. Let me make myself feel better can or not.

National Day
Supposedly a special day but because someone was pantang, it ended up just like any other day, except I got a lovely surprise and I got to watch fireworks! Thanks to those who were involved for my little gift. It was really sweet!! I love you tubs~ Sun with Moon for dinner at Central followed by Hokkaido green tea ice cream from Azabu Sabo. Damn satisfying dinner. Yums!

Mambo Jambo
Went Zouk on Mambo night one day, only to end up at Wine Bar the entire time. Please tell me that day’s crowd is only a one-off thing. I can’t imagine that kind of cannot-make-it crowd every week. It’s just gross and how unappealing that for the first time ever I couldn’t even be fucked to go into Zouk to take a look cos it just wasn‘t worth my toes being trampled on by jumpy sweaty guys . Guys! It’s time to get some sense of style, may it be the way you dress or the way you carry yourself. So much for people watching…
And the drunkards were looking like fools as oways and there was a fully sober ang moh who peed on the road near the valet and we were just standing behind him. He just turned around, said sorry, finished peeing, and walked off while his pee made it’s way down the slope. A few unfortunate souls had the honour of the valet driving their cars over the piss and stopping there for them to take over the car. Thank god when it was our turn, someone had come to wash it away. If you thought Singaporeans were bad, think again.
SOME MISCELLANEOUS MEET UPS!
Angel
Met up with Angel after what seemed like forever. Hung around Ion catching up and catching up and catching up. Phew. Later in the evening, it became 4 of us after Mel and Ruby came to join us. And we ended up at Shaw Macs talking and talking until it was damn late, or rather early in the morning. I think I haven’t spoken so much non stop for a very long time oready.
Jes
My Jes is so busy juggling work, school and a new BF that for her to meet me nowadays is considered a real treat. Haha. At least I still feel the love cos I know she really bothers to find time to meet up and catch up. That day we went Siglap after her work and my buddy and I shared a meal which we ate until we nearly puked cos she had the KFC coupon. Haha. After that we slacked at the newly opened Sidewalk Tavern. I quite like the place. Only pity is that they don’t open til later. But I guess 1130pm is considered late oready so I shall not ask for too much. Haha. Food and price are both good and it’s such a nice place to slack at. Looks like I’ll be back there soon enough to patronise them again.
Jane
Been meeting Jane quite abit and this woman is really studying. Hardworking studying. -applause- I need some of that to motivate me man… Chen has gone through a rough patch recently but she’s handling it with finesse. So I’m very proud of my bitch! I know it’s tougher than what it seems but jiayou! I know you can do it.

I haven’t eaten those in quite awhile and it’s damn orgasmic. Anyway, I can’t be happier that Patchi opened a proper shop at Ion.
Their chocs rocks my socks! It is get fat and get broke time indulging in chocolates! Yum yum!!
